Birthday present for Palin

Washington (CNN) - If members of the media are wondering what to get Sarah Palin on her birthday, they should look no further than the former Alaska governor's Twitter account.

Palin, who turns 47 today, wrote tonight "Media: ask "Will Obama Admin exert as much 'constructive' pressure on Iranian govt to change & allow freedom ~ as they just did for Egypt?"

Tonight isn't the first time Palin has criticized the Obama administration's handling of Iran. In December, Palin penned an op-ed in USA Today chastising the president's actions in halting Iran's nuclear program.

She wrote, "President Obama once said a nuclear-armed Iran would be "unacceptable." Yet, Iran's nuclear progress still continues unchecked."

This also isn't the first time the potential 2012 Republican presidential contender has weighed in on the unrest in Egypt. Palin told the Christian Broadcasting Network last week that the situation was Obama's 3 a.m. phone call, and that "It seems the call went right to the answering machine."

She went on to explain that she was "not real enthused about what it is that's being done on a national level and from (Washington) in regards to understanding all the situation there in Egypt."

Who is telling her what to Twitter or to say? Does she know where the Middle East is? Can she name the countries, and their systems, and the difference betw. Iran and Iraq? This is Failin' Palin, not a scholar nor an educated normal person. WHO is behind her telling her what to comment? We've heard enough of drivel when she's let lose without prepation... "there in Egypt."

Just because Obama didn't invade a sovereign nation like most Republicans would do, doesn't mean he isn't doing the right thing. He let the people of Egypt decide what they wanted. The people of Egypt repeatedly said they did not want US involvement, at least not on the surface, and they got what they wanted by showing the world that this was what they wanted. Obama did not try to tell them what to do like Bush tried to do in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sorry Republicans, but Obama handled this situation the right way.

we give Egypt 2billion dollars/year, giving us basis for applying pressure. Ms palin should note that Iran, on the other hand, not only doesnt receive aid from us, but is a declared enemy.

"Will Obama Admin exert as much 'constructive' pressure on Iranian govt to change & allow freedom ~ as they just did for Egypt?" That is total idiocy since the US has no pressure to put on Iran. There's no foreign aid to withhold from them, we already have stopped most trade with Iran. If the Administration endorsed the protesters, it would just give the Iranian leaders a ready excuse to denounce the protesters and immediately suppress them.

After our long history of using fake popular uprisings to keep the Shah in power (read Operation Ajax in wikipedia), the Iranian leadership would love the chance to brand the protesters as CIA stooges.

So all these "conservatives" who say the government isn't the answer to our problems are expecting President Obama to fix all these other countries that don't like?

All folks like Palin do is mouth off, spouting whatever nonsense they think will help their chances of being the Republican nominee in 2012.

We all know that the GOP doesn't have any ideas that work – all their policies are PROVEN FAILURES – so all they've got is the hope to find the most divisive, hateful person willing to spout the biggest lies in an effort to scare their "base" to the polls where they'll vote against their own self-interest.

What a pathetic lot the GOP has become!

I know this is a little too complex for Ms. Palin to understand, but the US just can't go throwing around its weight in that part of the world. If the leaders of Iran are able to link any opposition movement to the US they will have immediate justification to crush it as the big bully interfering wiht Iran's affairs as part of their war in Islam.

    Happy birthday Sarah!

Why does Ms.Palin keep on ranting about things she knows very littleabout. These international affairs are much beyond her grasp. She is barely an undergraduate with no exposure outside of where she grew up (Alaska?). Please shut up Ms. Palin.

Egypt and Iran are two completely different countries, with completely different beliefs, and completely different relationships with the U.S. Perhaps Sarah can't tell them apart, feeling all Muslims look alike, but it's comments like this that completely reveal this woman's utter ignorance. Honestly, I do not understand why anyone would see an iota of credibility in this shrieking harpy. She adds nothing but noise and regurgitated amalgamations of smarter people's ideas to the national dialogue. @SarahPAC – I can see your ignorance from my house!

More Texas Sharpshooter bafflegab from Alaska's Half Governor.
What is a Texas Sharpshooter ? Standing inside the barn with the doors closed, shooting both barrels of a shotgun at the door, and then drawing the target around the best "group" of holes.

The only problem with this Sarah is that Obama is grinning ear to ear because he wants and thinks the Muslim will control the government in Egypt by the time the dust settles . He just may be right. He wants the same for America. And what's worse we are letting him have his desire. OH SHALLOW MINDED AMERICANS WAKE UP. PLUG THE BORDERS AND IMPEACH OBAMA NOW. HE IS NOT AMERICAS FRIEND.

Let Egypt choose their own way. They will respect us more for not meddling in their business. They have been a country for many thousands of years they will be fine and when the time comes we offer them as much love and support as we can and lend out a helping hand if they ask us for it.

Sarah, you really need to keep your mouth shut. Every word you utter just digs a deeper hole for you. Perhaps you should consider going to back to school and work on a Masters or PhD degree...hopefully from one school. That would be money well spent. People who give to SarahPac are just throwing money away on this person/thing that will never be a president of this country. A good birthday present for you Sarah would be a one way ticket to Siberia.

And you would do WHAT different? Sure, it's easy to stand on a soap box and say, "This is wrong." But you see, problem solving is hard. It's more than a 30sec sound bite. It's more than what you can peck out on Twitter. And if you can put it on your facebook page, you're far too simplistic. Which is why you'll always be a cartoon instead of a candidate, a caricature of a character.

Sarah, Sarah, Sarah **sigh** Today, Egypt declared in a LOUD voice that they would raise up and be a democracy. I have hope that they will NOT be another Iran. Can you not be someone on the positive side?

I can't stand her. She drives me nuts. She is a simpleton.

Iran is getting squeezed on Nukes. There is not much more we can do to other than wait for their people to rise up.

George W started a 800 billion war with Iraq and they are still not a free functioning democracy.

We just got a democratically heading Egypt for next to nothing.

well the situation in Iran is unacceptable but of course sarah palin has no solutions. only jealous and hate filled criticism. she has no business commenting on US foreign policy, period. (does she get hers anymore?) can you imagine her with the nuke codes. she'd nuke the first 'libtard' to insult her, and then declare war on the Muslims, while simultaneously giving out tax breaks to everyone at Fox and that other fat ugly radio republican talk show host.. god, please send sarah palin back to alaska, and while you're at it, send justin beiber there too.

Again she criticizes without offering what she would do instead.

Every time she opens her mouth she gets further and further away from being in the White House. I think she is so infatuated with herself she doesn't realize that those who aren't on the far right don't really care for her.
