It's not a joke. He would probably do a better job. At least he doesn't drink to excess, smoke to excess and cry to excess!!!
I don't remember him crying in public, actually bawling like a little girl.
His color is also natural not that ugly orange tint either.
The only difference is that HW is becoming fragile in his older age, and Boner is mentally unstable. I will say that Boner makes me miss true leadership like Nancy Pelosi.
Mr HW is a true gentleman and his choking up is a sign of a life well lived and loved.
I always liked Bush, Sr. He was probably the most experienced man to ever rise to the position of president, and one of the most decent human beings.
His son was the polar opposite (and unfortunately for our great country, he served twice as long).
Bush Sr unlike the Speaker seemed to know his rump from a hole in the ground! Will the GOP ever ditch their tom-foolery & start acting anything close to being a grown up?
I would take Bush Sr so far over ANY of these new nutjobs that want to call themselves Republicans and I normally support Democrats. I didn't always agree with his policies, but he and Mrs. Bush showed class and respect if nothing else.
Mrs. Bush has the guts to tell the likes of Sarah Palin that she should STAY in Alaska so the senior Bushes can't be all bad.
