Nazi symbols show up at Wisconsin rally

Washington (CNN) - The protests outside the state capitol in Madison, Wisconsin this week aren't without some eyebrow-raising elements.

CNN producers have spotted at least three Nazi signs in the 25,000 person-deep crowd. Some signs depict Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker dressed as Hitler while others show a swastika and call Walker a "fascist dictator."

The protests themselves are in response Walker's proposal to end collective bargaining for state and county employees.

I thought the hate only came fr the Tea Party people?
OH but this discourse, this vitriole, this nasty, offensive, inflamatory rhetoric is ok when it comes fr the Democrats. What about the children who have now missed 3 days of school b/c teachers have not shown up? I thought the Dems are the only ones that "care about the children".

I had to forgo my contributions to my retirement this year, I could not afford to. Yet when I see these selfish, parasites protesting b/c they are being asked to contribute to their own, begs the question. Why should we pay for their benefits? I have no problem paying for firefighers/police who are excluded fr all this as should be. But the public employees makes on average 2 times more that if they did the same job in the private sector. Yet they expect the private sector/majority taxpayers in this country to pay for their pension and healthcare for life! Why should we pay for their benefits. Who is paying for ours? They are not the only middle class yet they are entitled to more than the rest of us when they already make more than the rest of us!? This is insane people! Wake the heck up!!!

Riiight – he is the exact equivalent of a psychopath that presided over the intentional slaughter of 6 million people, and a war that cost 50 million lives because he wants to change a few middle class work conditions from luxurious union members to simply un-fire-able secure civil servants.

Right – you've got yourself in perspective all right.

Why is it OK for this governor to come in and tell these citizens, protected by a union, that they have to take cuts in pay and pay more for benefits to balance the budget IF it is not OK for the government to curtail the massive incomes and bonuses Wall Street execs and investment bankers and bankers made on the TARP money coming out of our pockets? The huge tax breaks the .0179% wealthiest got - "we're being penalized because we make so much money, why should we pay more, this is not America free enterprise system" - and everyone backs down and agrees that government shouldn't be so big to be able to do this. Yet, when it is a small guy making $35K up to maybe $75-80K annually, its OK for hte govt to determine how much he can make and how much he has to pay for insurance and pension? There's something real wrong here folks.

Just when I think my disgust at the Republican thugs can`t go any lower; the morons prove me wrong. They are verging on becoming the Taliban of America. Anything that has to do with intelligence, worker`s rights, woman`s rights, minority rights, or just plain human rights are too be done away with because they interfere with the Higher Order of Conservitive Rights to rule by... GOD?! They are dragging the U.S. back into some Orwellian nightmare of neanderthal insanity!!

The left-wing Wisonsin government worker really just need to get back to work and do their jobs. They do not need a union. They are well-cared for as hogs with their mouths in the public trough.

Why would Democrats do this? I've been a democrat but now I'm denouncing being one. I can't stand with a group of people that are so full of hate, bigotry and racism.

Thats not a nazi symbol, that is the Bhudist symbol of the wheel of Life.

The Nazi symbol is on a tilt, thus defiling the Life symbol of the Bhudist religion.

So..... Not only is the protester a moron, so are you for reporting this.

All of the Republicans that won their elections in November via the Tea Party should take notice. The Tea Party is not the majority and not only could you face this in your State, come next election you could be out and good riddance.

Bit misleading here, it's not pro-Nazi, it's using the Nazi imagery to describe how they feel about what is being done to them.

Given how much the Tea party likes to use Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and Mao, well...

Do you know what the average teacher makes at Milwaukee Public Schools? 100K !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you know what the graduation rate is at Milwuakee Public Schools? 18% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you know how much a Milwuakee Public Teacher contributes to their Health Care/ Pensions? 0.2%, thats 1 dollar of their own money to every 58 dollars of taxpayer money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The governor wants to make them contribute more and they compare him to Hitler? Are you kidding me? No wonder why Union approval ratings right now stand at about 8%.

3 Nazi signs out of 25,000 peaceful well-mannered citizens??? And it took you only four days to find them??? How about the hundreds of Nazi signs, Hitler-Obama mustaches, Moran posters you never covered at teabagging parties? What was the ratio of childish posters to participants then? Get with it, CNN.

Civility is only for the GOP is what that means. Can you imagine if the Tea Party had signs like that up – there would be blood in the streets. Obama and the civility message was all smoke and mirrors just like everything else he says.

God help the children of Wisconsin if they are being taught by people who evoke the images of fascism and nazism over potential pay cuts. Ignorance in abundance.

I saw posters with tgun target symbols over the face of the Governor too. It is sad that Deomcrats preach one thing in Arizona and practice something entirely different. It is troubling to know Obamas organization is directing these demonstrations too. Some change you can believe in.

The legitimate protest by the Public employees in Wisconsin could help themselves a great deal by not
Allowing some of its protesters to use Swastikas when referring to opposing sides of the issues !

That was what we all saw last summer in Healthcare protests by mostly Republicans.. False extremism is hurting the credibility of the protests. Enough of the Hitler nonsense, stick to the issues.

Get back to work you lazy bums. The average teacher salary including benefits in Wisconsin is $89,000.00. The national averave is $61,000.00. These self centered union hacks want the non union workers in Wisconsin to foot the bill for their retirement and healthcare when other workers are paying 2-3 times as much. Time to fire them all, no more are we giong to pay these outragous salarys and benefits to a bunch of over paid under worked sefl serving leaches.

I agree that the governor is going too far, but this isn't the place for that symbol. Unfortunately, the symbol is easily recognized as evil. The demonstrators need another symbol to call the governor evil because taking away collective bargining rights is wrong!

The nation will see and remember the difference between media treatment of Nazi symbols in use at public employees' protests and similar instances at Tea Party events of the past two years. Tea Party was excoriated on camera in one network news program after another. The same media outlets studiously ignore more egregious behavior from left wing zanies at these protests. Tea Party events were analyzed in terms of the organizations involved in organizing and funding, but the role played in Madison by Obama's Organizing for America political action organization, or by national union leadership in SEIU and others, is ignored. The lack of credibility, fairness, or professional standards at ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN is exposed again. Although I recognize that the article above is an instance in which CNN did report the facts, I call your attention to the way the story is portrayed. The presence of Nazi symbols and allegations of Nazi behavior made by protesters is totally disconnected from the identity of those same protesters. Please consider why the Organizing for America PAC founded by Barack Hussein Obama is paying for busses to bring out-of-state political organizers into the protests in Madison, Wisconsin. This portends much evil in the next two years.

It looks like the paid protesters from Koch industries have shown up to discredit the peaceful demonstration. I'll bet Fox followed the Koch buses in to get pictures of these signs.
