Palin to travel to India

(CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be making a trans-continental trip to India in March to speak at the India Today 2011 conclave in New Delhi, Palin aide Rebecca Mansour tweeted Wednesday.

Palin, who is weighing a possible 2012 run for the Republican presidential nomination, is set to speak on March 19, delivering a keynote address on "My Vision of America." Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the 2008 vice presidential candidate questions, according to the conference program.

The conclave, organized by one of the biggest publishing groups in India, is an annual event named for the newsmagazine "India Today."

The conference attracts India's elite and covers topics that range from policy, regional diplomacy, business and economic and technology to social trends.

The 2011 roster will cover issues from "The Gender Dialogue: Can the burqua co-exist with the bikini?" to a session on "Politics and Ethics: Is honesty impossible in Indian politics?"

Other speakers and panelists include Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, feminist writer Germaine Greer, Indian actor Aamir Khan and Egyptian opposition leader and Nobel Peace laureate Mohamed ElBaradei.

Palin aides are not saying yet whether there will be additional overseas stops built around the India trip.

–CNN's Steve Brusk and Peter Hamby contributed to this report.

Any chance she might stay? Oh please oh please. She will probably order a Cheeseburger. Maybe she could shoot cows from a heliocopter.

Why in the world would these people invite her? What can she add to any conversation or conclave? And, does she know where India is? Will she meet any Iriquois or Navahos?

Sarah Palin isn't running for president, period. Sarah Palin is not qualified to run for the local dog catcher. The media, especially CNN made her. Just quit talking about her so she can go away. Even her most avid supporters say she will not be the Republican nominee. But CNN needs the ratings, right. Glad I don't watch anymore. If you wanted to go to the far right CNN, at least be honest with your viewers about it. Not to worry, we soon figured it out. You are no longer even and straight down the middle. The far right get away with it all during your air while your pundits question them while you bash Democratic guests. Shame on you.

This is lovely and all, but where is the ticker item about Governor Walker's phone call? The one where he actually said what he believes, as opposed to what he's actually told the public? That is real news.

Does she know where India is located?
How can she go there if she can't see it from her backyard?

Duh ... she goes to India to campaign for the US presidency. She must have confused Indians (from the Asian subcontinent) with Indians (indigenous Native Americans). Regardless, never a dull moment with Ms. Palin.

The people of India could use a little humor, and I am sure the mental midget from Alaska will put them in stitches with her stupidity. Maybe her topic will include her understanding of geography and talk to them about the '. . country of Africa.'

Is Sister Sarah returning to her birth place or was she really born here in the "Lower 48"? The Birthers should be hot onthis but I bet you won't hear a peep out of them. I hope they make sure she knows what continent she is on and I hope they don't tick her off and make her throw up a "No Fly Zone" around India. On another note, maybe she will get a job there in one of their call centers and decide to stay. GOD if she does, Happy Days are here again. Maybe she will run for President of India. I would support her if she would stay there and run.

That's rich! SP's "vision of America." She can't even see America from where her head is. There should be a disclaimer for the Indians that SP in no way represents anything but a wee fringe of the US of A.

Can we assume that they've met her requirements for type & size of jet, fee, and bendy-straws? Lessee the money!
