Palin upset with Obama, again

(CNN) - Former Republican Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page Tuesday night to criticize the Obama administration's response to the ongoing turmoil in Libya.

She noted the White House released statements about the earthquake in New Zealand, "but nothing on the slaughter in Libya?"

The former Republican vice presidential nominee said "now is the time to speak out."

"For four decades this tyrant has held power. Gaddafi was Osama (bin Laden) before Osama hit the scene," Palin wrote. "Gaddafi is a brutal killer and Libya – not to mention the world – would be better off if he were out of power."

Violent anti-government protests continue in Libya while leader Moammar Gadhafi vows to hold onto power.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has condemned the violence in Libya, calling for a halt to the "unacceptable bloodshed" in response to civil unrest.

"The government of Libya has a responsibility to respect the universal rights of the people, including the right to free expression and assembly," Clinton said in a statement Monday.

But that wasn't enough for Palin. The potential 2012 presidential candidate said NATO and allies of the United States should establish a no-fly zone so "Libyan air forces cannot continue slaughtering the Libyan people."

"We should not be afraid of freedom, especially when it comes to people suffering under a brutal enemy of America," Palin wrote. "Here's to freedom from Gaddafi for the people of Libya."

Palin's criticism follows similar comments she made about the situation in Egypt. She told the Christian Broadcasting Network the uproar was Obama's 3 a.m. phone call and "that call went right to the answering machine," a reference to a line used by then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton against Obama in the 2008 presidential campaign.

Who is she to talk? Does she know where Libya is? Does she have any interation with Libyain-americans?

She is not in office nor has any real understanding on what is going on. This loudmouth will do anything to get attention. If she was in office she would not have an idea what to do or how to react. Less than 2 years in office as governor does not make her an expert nor does she have any advisors to inform her on how sensitive the issue really is. The UN is the first stop for policy making then the US 'may' get involved. Jumping in and forcing regime change does not work – as it was very evident from our actions over the past 9 years.

The collective advice from America to Satan Palin is to be quiet and let the adults do the work.

Why doesn't Palin just shut the hell up? She is a bigot, a fascist and a no nothing dingbat. She has no clue about Real LIfe.
Her life consists of bitching about others and making a fool of herself.

Once again, the Queen of Crosshairs is too little, too late. Her track record of foreign policy remains as blank as the list of newspapers she reads. She's nothing more than a corporate puppet and sound bite with nothing of value to offer...ever. SSDD. Give her a saucer of milk and move on.

She is upset because she did not get the US Vice-Presidency toy she wanted for election day. Time to grow up and learn that there is someone much better in office that will handle things in the best way possible. Jumping into the mix without thinking is not the way – especially in that region.

Use your head Palin! Or at least realize when you are not qualified to speak on issues you know NOTHING about.

Palin, you don't have a CLUE WHAT Mr. Obama is doing behind the scenes! You don't know who he's talked to or met with. He could have talked to Qaddafi himself for all you know...Quit trying to tell everyone what President Obama is or isn't doing, because frankly YOU DON'T KNOW!!!!!

The shrilling harpy is going to fall on the exact opposite side of where she THINKS the POTUS is. Let's say Obama did in fact issue a statement of support. Then she would surely be on her Facebook condemning that. Her fans must be confused. They are supposed to hate all Muslims, and now she is saying that the POTUS doesn't care enough about them.

CNN, can you stop regurgitating her Facebook updates. It is not news!

There she gos again ! She would put the lives of 600 Americans on the line just to beak off and feel powerful. If she were President she would no doubt have let her ego and power get Americans killed by now. She has no access to the security meetings taking place in the Whitehouse 24/7 on this issue and it is very dangerous to have idiots like her having the ability to speak. It is time to put this unemployed and unelectable person tweets and posts to rest, this would be in the best interest for the 600 people that we ned to get out of Libya. The only way to handle this as a country is exactly how the President of the United States is doing right now, like a real Presdient should. This is no time to allow former reality TV stars to speak on this very sensitive issue. God Bless all that are in Libya and please God make Sarah Palin shut her hate filled devil pleasing mouth !

Pretty obvious from some of the statements here that people don't understand diplomacy. Obama can't just lash out at every tyrant on earth. Libya is an oil country and that kind of rhetoric would immediately affect the oil markets. We also have to go the UN first before military action. We are not at war with Libya, they have the right to self-determination. Palin should just shut-up and let educated folk handle the important business of running the country.

Aren't we all glad that she is nowhere near close to a place where this and all other serious matters of the government (something that she does not like too much) as of now?

Sarah, if you were in charge, and we did things your way, there would now be 600 dead Americans in Libya! When will this idiot shut up and go away??? More important, when will everyone in the media just ignore the useless nonsense that she spews??

Considering Gadhafi has vowed genocide on his own people, the U.S. should get it's people out of harms way before the POTUS starts getting tough. Gadhafi is clearly crazy. Sarah Palin should close her mouth and sit down.

Palin should stop receiving her talking points from Limbaugh, Coulter, Beck, or Hannity or FOX news. Better for her to be informed on the issues by tuning into NPR or PBS TV or logging onto CNN News.

Sarah, honey. Let me remind you that you LOST the election. You input into any national crisis has been rejected by the American people. Please go back to Alaska and try real hard to keep your opinions to yourself. "Man up" and learn to say nothing when you don't know what you're talking about...
