Palin upset with Obama, again

(CNN) - Former Republican Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page Tuesday night to criticize the Obama administration's response to the ongoing turmoil in Libya.

She noted the White House released statements about the earthquake in New Zealand, "but nothing on the slaughter in Libya?"

The former Republican vice presidential nominee said "now is the time to speak out."

"For four decades this tyrant has held power. Gaddafi was Osama (bin Laden) before Osama hit the scene," Palin wrote. "Gaddafi is a brutal killer and Libya – not to mention the world – would be better off if he were out of power."

Violent anti-government protests continue in Libya while leader Moammar Gadhafi vows to hold onto power.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has condemned the violence in Libya, calling for a halt to the "unacceptable bloodshed" in response to civil unrest.

"The government of Libya has a responsibility to respect the universal rights of the people, including the right to free expression and assembly," Clinton said in a statement Monday.

But that wasn't enough for Palin. The potential 2012 presidential candidate said NATO and allies of the United States should establish a no-fly zone so "Libyan air forces cannot continue slaughtering the Libyan people."

"We should not be afraid of freedom, especially when it comes to people suffering under a brutal enemy of America," Palin wrote. "Here's to freedom from Gaddafi for the people of Libya."

Palin's criticism follows similar comments she made about the situation in Egypt. She told the Christian Broadcasting Network the uproar was Obama's 3 a.m. phone call and "that call went right to the answering machine," a reference to a line used by then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton against Obama in the 2008 presidential campaign.

Thank GOD she doesn't have any power. She wanted to send troops into Egypt, too. She's just nuts. Why do people listen to this drivel?

Implement a no-fly zone over another sovereign country? Nice, that way our military can be much closer when Gaddafi falls and we need to invade to save that country (our oil) from the war loving Muslims that will try to rise to power. All makes perfect sense in a sound bite world.

So, is the view of world affairs pretty good from where you hide out, Sarah? Everything with you has a very simple explanation, but that's just because of your incredible lack of education and intellect. These are hard problems with tough solutions, not for someone who couldn't even identify Africa as a continent not too long ago. Go back to your hunting and fishing program and leave the real work of running the country to the professionals please.

Again this intellectual lightweight prefers personal glory over diplomacy. Yeah speak up and give that petty tyrant a target to divert attention to rally his extremists. When will this knownothing become a footnote to history. Her 15 minutes are long gone.

Oh, for God's sake. This woman won't be happy until the United States is at war with, or has invaded every country on the planet!! Listen up honey, you QUIT your job, which automatically makes you IRRELEVANT and UNQUALIFIED to render opinion about anyone else's handling of a situation.

So much for objectivity in reporting Gabriella Schwarz. You should have a penalty for writing biased works and labeling them as news. This is an opinion piece.

America is not the world police. This is a people's revolt to oust their dictator. We can defend their cause, but in order for the people to truly form their own democracy, it is something that should be done without other countries assistance. It is best if the United States not interfere. I am so glad she didn't get elected VP.

The reason President Obama is keeping a low profile as far as the events in Libya are concerned, is because any endorsement by the U.S. would be the kiss of death for the revolution. And Palin knows that. Just running her mouth as usual.

So ... according to "Falin" ... we're to take over air-space of a sovereign country and prevent its own airforce from flying over its own country?
So in her mind the only diplomacy is an act of war?

This is the same idiot woman who criticized President Obama when he spoke about against the Egyptian regime and supported the protesters there. When is Caribou Barbie ever NOT upset with President Obama? That's what she is paid to do.

Half term QUITTER hiding behind Facebook and Twitter needs to shut her piehole.
Anything to say about the book that's coming out that reveals the true Palin? Of course not, she's been busted.
If she hated her cushy job up there in Alaska, she will be incredibly far out of her league trying to lead a nation.
Stay in Alaska and shut up

Has the #1 idiot in the country stopped to think we have a lot of Americans there that the gov. is trying to bring out?? Nothing like a strong statement from the president to outrage their pycho leader! Probably nothing would please said leader any more than boasting he's holding, I think approx. 500, Americans hostage. SP would be great with foreign relations! NOT

She just has to comment on everything and makes absolutely no sense. There are American diplomats on the ground dummy who need to get out of the country. Gadhafi is crazy enough to try to hold them captive. You should shut up and go away. You have no credibility when it comes to foreign relations. You were wrong on Egypt and you are wrong on this.
