Palin upset with Obama, again

(CNN) - Former Republican Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page Tuesday night to criticize the Obama administration's response to the ongoing turmoil in Libya.

She noted the White House released statements about the earthquake in New Zealand, "but nothing on the slaughter in Libya?"

The former Republican vice presidential nominee said "now is the time to speak out."

"For four decades this tyrant has held power. Gaddafi was Osama (bin Laden) before Osama hit the scene," Palin wrote. "Gaddafi is a brutal killer and Libya – not to mention the world – would be better off if he were out of power."

Violent anti-government protests continue in Libya while leader Moammar Gadhafi vows to hold onto power.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has condemned the violence in Libya, calling for a halt to the "unacceptable bloodshed" in response to civil unrest.

"The government of Libya has a responsibility to respect the universal rights of the people, including the right to free expression and assembly," Clinton said in a statement Monday.

But that wasn't enough for Palin. The potential 2012 presidential candidate said NATO and allies of the United States should establish a no-fly zone so "Libyan air forces cannot continue slaughtering the Libyan people."

"We should not be afraid of freedom, especially when it comes to people suffering under a brutal enemy of America," Palin wrote. "Here's to freedom from Gaddafi for the people of Libya."

Palin's criticism follows similar comments she made about the situation in Egypt. She told the Christian Broadcasting Network the uproar was Obama's 3 a.m. phone call and "that call went right to the answering machine," a reference to a line used by then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton against Obama in the 2008 presidential campaign.

yes, lets go bomb Lybia because of this....she is a total idiot! Did Regan topple him? Nope! So thats what this idiot would do go into another country and use force? Hmmm.....just get our people out and let them work it out for themselves. WE CAN NO LONGER AFFORD TO BE THE SOLE WORLD POLICE FORCE! We have way too many problems at home. Hey Palin any advice on JOB CREATION? I didnt think so.....

Palin is clueless. Were she to be elected President, we'd be at war with most of the world. She is shameless in her ignorance. If she were not attractive, she would be merely a memory her failed run for VP. What does that say about us as a society? Pretty scary.

If this woman would at least read the news she would know that we are having problems getting our people out of Libya and if she would have any political sense she would understand that you do that BEFORE you start taking actions against other nations. But, hey! it's trigger-happy, lets-just-quit, backyard-international-experience Palin...

What does she expect us to do? Invade Lybia? That would be a whole lot easier if we wern't already bogged down in Bush's wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The difference between New Zealand and Lybia is that we were asked to help in New Zealand. And the Lybians don't WANT our help.

Why do Republicans think that we should be intimately involved in the governance of other countries? Palin really just speaks for herself with this bit of nonsense, but the masses of GOP voters believe that we should intervene in every international issue while somehow slashing foreign aid. This is a Lybian issue, a State Department issue and the State Department has issued it's condemnation on behalf of the administration. END OF STORY

The best thing for USA to do is stay the heck out of it. No matter what we say or do, it will come back to bite us. This quitter would drag USA into all kinds of trouble with her know-nothing big mouth.

Oh, lookie, Palin is pretending to understand foreign policy. Quick Sarah, point Libya out on a map. No, no, that's Liberia put you get a gold star for the effort since it also starts with an L. John McCain, you get a swift quick in your ol' juevos for unleashing this airhead on the country.

The citizens of Libya have to fight this one on their own. Any flight restrictions imposed by the U.S. or any other NATO country could be interrepeted as an oppressive act of the Imperialistic West. Send the Alaskan Air Force over Russian airspace to keep their planes away idiot.

Why does this uninformed person keep sounding off, I could understand her making comments on what to do if she had more information than the rest of us, why does she always spout off on facebook or twitter or fox in a one way statement it would be wonderful if she would "grow a set" or" man up" and let some one ask her a question or debate her. I guess if she did man up or grow a set her name would be ann coulter.

Palin's extensive experience with foreign policy and her long tenure as governor of Alaska gives her the vast depth of knowledge to comment on anyone, much less the president, and their actions, right? Oh, wait! No experience with foreign policy, couldn't finish her governorship, and helped McCain lost the 08 election. Hmmm. Yes, she's very well qualified to run her mouth. Sarah, keep your comments simple and leave the hard stuff to the grown folks.

Hey Sarah you are forgetting one thing the United States is not the "Worlds Poliecman". What goes on in Libya is Libya problem. You are also forgetting ome more thing, the United States gets a lot of it's oil from Libya. I can see your newly appointed "Chief of Staff" is giving you some top notch information. What you should really be doing is speaking out on why the United States has to pay "Big Dollars for a Barrel of Oil", have you seen the price of gas at the pump. May you should call Gaddafi and tell you'll give him a big "Wet One" if he leaves Libya and make sure before you give him the "Wet One" make sure he'll lower the price of a barrel of oil. You are going into uncharted waters in which you have no experience in, stay out until you are elected "President".

What has Palin done that make worth listening to. We don't have the resources (money or people) to get involved in this. We've got troops In Iraq, Afghanistan, South Korea..... We apparently don't have the resources to take care of our own people here but according to here we should spending money spreading the same freedom here that the GOP wants to remove from American here. It's absolutely sickening to hear her opinion. She is only in this for the attention. She spreads ignorance because ignorance is all she has to spread.

The Obama administration is doing exactly what it should do. Stay out of it and let them figure it out.

Ms. Palin, Bush II cut a deal with Qadafi and called his regime 'a model' for the region. Obama is wisely letting the man destroy himself, but then he's doing the same with you. Keep those statements coming.

Well, if Mrs. Palin had watched any of the "Liberal Media" in the last 48hr, she would know that the actions that "She" suggest have already been reported as courses of action on the nightly news. Gotcha Sarah!

All of this coming from a woman who justified her foreign policy experience with the fact that Alaska was "next door neighbors" to Canada and Russia.....

Are their still people that think she is a good-hearted person and a role model for young girls? She is the most bitter, hate-filled person I have seen and heard in a looong time. You people supporting her better look in the mirror.

Apparently this loser, quiter and serial liar from Alaska isn't listening and is completely in the dark concerning Inernational Law. Palin is so lost in her own little world that the gliimmer of reason and/or logic doesn't touch a cell of her puny reptilian brain. Here's a call for ya Sarah - sit down - shut up - go away. We're sick of you and your self-absorbed 3 year old vision of reality.

Fortunatley, only CNN cares what this blow-hard has to say. And she, as usualm is taking advantage of just another opportunity to stay in the news. The Admiistration knows that speaking out could case even more human tragedy in Libya. Thank God for that. This woman really has no conscience.

Big talk from the Alaskan Snookie, someone who could not find Libya on a map. Perhaps the President does not want to add rhetoric that would further endanger American citizens who are being evacuated, Miss Country First!!. America cannot be big brother to the world, the people in Egypt overthrew their dictator without our help and the people of Libya will do the same, as they have a right to do. If little Miss Half-Term thinks she has the foreign policy cred, feel free to get on the first thing rolling to Libya. Let us know how the know it all thing works out for ya.
