The arrogance of the new budget-cutters

Washington (CNN) - Well, we said we wanted budget cutters, so that's what we have.

In fact, it's a downright frenzy of fiscal rectitude in Washington. You've heard it all: Every cut matters. No cut is too small. Nothing is off limits, even the unkindest cuts of all. After all, the problem is just too large to put off any longer.

Walker isn't running for POTUS in 2012. Daniels probably is. Daniels choices have nothing to do with being reasonable or exhibitting altruism: they were the only choices he could possibly make that allowed him to present himself as such and avoid alienating independents. It was calculated and after seeing what he did to our country managing the OMB for Bushtard and Cheneybot, I have no doubt he seriously considered enticing the Dems back to "negotiate" and then having the GOPers call the legislature in session for the vote, just like Walker was going to do. Daniels is a mealymouthed panderer selling snake oil and poison pills wrapped in gold foil.

Bottom line, when government employees begin to get laid off because there is no money to write them a check than reality will hit everyone in the checkbook, except, these employees will not be able to count on the Democrat politicians nor on CNN employees to financially support them until they find another job.
Will all CNN and all Democrat politicians commit to financial carry these government employees until they find new jobs?

These stupid repugs will cut the hell out of the middle class and poor money, after this! How the hell we suppose to stimulate our economy and put people back to work, use a scalpel not a machete. Do like what obam suggest cut and invest, to bring jobs to the economy, we might not over come a great recession this time, because we have no more money left in the federal budget to get us out.

  6. DemoCommunists for a Better Way - Bankruptcy

There is no "arrogance" in keeping ones word. There is a reason 66 House Democrats LOST THEIR JOB last November (compared to only 3 republicans) and that is because the American people have had ENOUGH of the financial insanity put force by the Democrats. 1-1.6 TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICITS AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE??? Pure insanity that must be confronted and removed. Start cutting now and when the rest of the insane DemoCommunists are removed in 2012, the job will continue until this country is back on solid footing.

People are nuts! That's all there is to it. You're all demanding that govt stop spending, stop spending, stop spending. I've been to the public meetings – everyone yowling about government spending. Then, one by one, you drag your sorry butts to the microphone and tell your Congressman: "I lost my job and need more funding for job training, don't cut unemployment, don't cut farm subsidies, don't cut Medicare, Social Security, highway projects, college tuition loans & grants - good heavens, don't lay off firefighters, police, teachers. Save the NASA program – cut NASA spending and try to get private funds to move space exploration in a new direction? NO, NO, NO! Keep throwing billions of $$$ at NASA. Don't cut there, don't cut here...."

Which is it folks? Do you want the government to cut spending or not? It costs a lot of money to provide all those and more services. Cut spending = cut services! The job training fairy doesn't make it happen. There's no fairy of any kind to provide services without funding. Either fund the programs or learn to do without!
