Washington's budget follies

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) - Is this any way to run a government?

Congress may soon pass a fifth short-term funding bill in as many months just to keep Washington operating for another two to four weeks.

We won't ever get anything done on cutting the budget until we get out current union leader/president out of office.

  2. DemoCommunists for a Better Way - Bankruptcy

The DemoCommunistas controlled the federal government back in October when they NEVER SUBMITTED OR APPROVED A BUDGET. With the November elections so near, they were afraid of the American people finding out they were spending us into bankruptcy with $1.6 TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICTS.

Then after the elections in which the American people woke up and removed a large number of them, the lame ducks tried to lock in their insane spending level. Thank God the Republicans were able to stop that insanity. And now the insane DemoCcommunistas don't want to cut anything from their insane spending plans, even though we don't have the money to pay for it.

This is EXACTLY why the American people will remove al large number of these irresponsible imbeciles from office in 2012. To not do so will endanger the future of this country.

Apparently John Boehner isn't up to the job of running Congress. No surprise, that. I do wonder when he and his GOP Presidential hopeful cohorts will be stepping up to the plate to condemn one of their own TeaPer Congressmen for NOT defending the current President of the United States during the recent Town Hall meeting held in Georgia in which the Congressman all but ignored the potential death threat against President Obama suggested by one of his own constituents? I'm guessing I shouldn't hold my breath waiting.

  4. DemoCommunists for a Better Way - Bankruptcy

Where was CNN and the rest of the liberal lame stream media reporting that the DemoCommunistas failed to pass a budget for this fiscal year? Where was the outrage? Where was the call for fiscal responsibility?? Where was ANY REPORTING AT ALL??? dead silence... But now that the Republicans are in office, now all of a sudden this is an issue, "any way to run a government"? The horrendous hypocrisy here is amazing CNN. And you call yourself a news organization? HA! And you people wonder why Fox News is eating your lunch???

    "Budget follies"

Cute euphamism for dropping tax rates to their lowest levels in 60 years BEFORE reducing spending, then pretending to be shocked when you end up with a deficit and using it to make people mad about government spending and their lowest-in-60-years tax rates. If you don't think this was all planned by the GOP in 2001 and 2003 (when they passed the Bush tax cuts) in an effort to manufacture their excuse for eviscerating SS, Medicare and regulatory industries that police their largest contributing giant corporations, then you need your freekin head examined. Giant corporations HATE the societal safety net because it gives you an option, unpalatable though it may be, to tell your employer to screw itself if it's not going to treat you with basic respect, human decency, etc., by getting rich off yuor labor while yuo struggle to make ends meet with consumer debt products in which your employer no doubt has major investments. They want you entrely beholden to them and afraid to stand up for yourself for the lack of anything to catch you should you not remain their indentured servant slave labor.

The Republicans are well on their way to destroying the last vestiges of the middle class in this country starting with that lying Governor in Wisconsin .

What an-outrage that Obama stepped in and saved the Auto Companies and the Banks and is now turning a blind eye to working people that elected him on his promise to – work with them – in his campaign..

What a huge slap in the face. So much for Change you can Believe in.
