Government shutdown may be averted ... for now
New York (CNNMoney) - Spoiler alert: There's now a good chance that the federal government will not shut down on Friday night, when the latest stop-gap funding measure expires.
But like a stay of execution, dodging the bullet this week is no guarantee that a shutdown won't occur.

They're not accomplishing anything anyhow. If the government shuts down, then all members of the House and the Senate should have their pay suspended until they get the government back up and running. Simple as that. No work – no pay. That is what "We the People" have to live by. These overegoed morons should not be any different. And for everyday it is shut down, they should lose one of their precious "recess" days.
I am sick and tired of the clowns who supposedly run this Country. Afterall, they do work for us, don't they? (insert laugh here)

This is a BS solution. The repubs are way dumber than I thought they were. Never cherry pick the lowest fruit in negations. Now when the serious cuts are proposed, the dumbocraps will bow up and nothing will get done and the dumb ass repubs will be left holding the bag. WHAT IDIOTS !!!
If the Republicans had any brains, they would try to avoid a shutdown as much as possible. Sure they remember '94, but do they remember '96? Then again, a shutdown would only secure a second term for Obama!

We, as a country, need to get serious about the deficit! Yes, there will be a huge price to pay for our 25 years of fiscal responsibility but the sooner we act the better chance we have to solve it. Anyone who thinks this is a minor problem probably never passed 3rd grade math!!!!!!!!!! The figures are undeniable!!!!!
