Biden holds bipartisan talks to break spending stalemate

Washington (CNN) - White House officials led by Vice President Joe Biden met for the first time Thursday with House and Senate leaders in both parties to begin negotiations on major differences over government funding levels and spending cuts.

According to multiple sources familiar with the meeting, negotiators agreed to hold Senate votes on each side's position, in the hopes of demonstrating the necessity of compromise to powerful voices in both parties who have been resisting a deal.

Does the V.P. actually think the GOP is going to have any ideas other then complaining? You want to know a little secret neither party care about the American peoples' interest. They work for the global elites on wall street and CEO's of major corporations. It's all about their own money.

This would be an excellent time for the Congress to give themselves a token pay cut, end subsidies to oil companies, remove the cap on Social Security payroll deductions, and end the tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans. Those weasels in the House won't be able to make reasonable choices on important issues but will expend effort to return Styrofoam cups, bowls and plates to the House cafeteria. We are governed by corporate prostitutes with no regard for any initiative supporting the middle class of America. How well did that system work for Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, Mexico, and Tunisia? Suppress people long enough, let the money get isolated to an elite class, and the lower classes will come to get their fair share. We are not immune from this very predictable syndrome.

ronald raegan set the all time record for continued yearly deficits by spending more than the total amount that all the presidents before him spent. george bush sr. beat ragans yearly record. it took george w. bush to show them how to max the credit card by adding $4 trillion to the deficit. all three of these presidents borrowed most of the suplus in the social sucerity account to keep their record spending habits from looking so out of this world. the total amount of I.O.U.s in the social sucerity system fund amounts to $2.5 trillion. you conservitive bone headed republicans think the democrats are the spenders! really! give me a break! i know you have a computer if you are reading this so try looking for the facts. the democrats are trying to show the republicans how to balance a budget because we have done it twice in the last 50 years .bill clinton and john kennedy did it at the same time he cut the tax rate almost in half for the rich without borrowing the money to do it with. think these are not facts than check it out yourselves. democrats may to you be alot of things but stupid is not one of them!

The budget and deficit are so important to the President that he puts Joe Biden in charge of negotiations? Was Crusty the Clown on vacation? Do note this the same Joe Biden that managed the Stimulus law funding that reduced unemployment, funded all those shovel-ready jobs, and got our economy really humming...wait a second, no it didn't do ANY of those things!

Knowing Biden and his rambling nonsense, it'll take three weeks to understand what he's really talking about. The extension will have ended by then.
