How absurd is this looney? It is not terrorism if you are white and call yourself a Christian.

What a second, this is very easy to explain. New York state has a large ethnic Irish population that votes and apparently, as least in King's district, Muslims do not have a large population that votes. I hope this clears everything up.

Hey Vince. Timothy McVeigh could hardly have been an atheist if he wanted to avenge the WACO religious group. And I remember all the politicians statements at the beginning of WWI and WWII saying "God is on our side". Why do think we have Army Chaplins???

"Why do think we have Army Chaplins???"

Or put "In God We Trust" on ou money? It was specifically put there in the 50's to reinforce that the "dirty commies" were godless heretics.

Hey Pete, while we're at it, let's finish what they started in Salem and round up the rest of the witches too! They're bad. And scary!

"IRA Supporter – the IRA is fighting for freedom, it's easy to judge if your kids are not being spit at because they are catholic..."

and the IRA show that by blowing the faces off children and murdering innocent civilians? How many catholics were killed or beaten up for having a Protestent boyfriend or girlfriend? Fighting for Freedom ...how laughable. I hear all your freedom fighers are now drug dealers. Way to go....

Well what about the guy who flew his single engine Cessna into the IRS building in Texas? He wasn't muslim. Luckily no one was killed in that incident.

People do not know enough about the complexities of the IRA to be making black and white statements. I suggest people educate themselves before posting comments. The British government's Iron Fist handling of the entire situation led to the creation of radicals, who were formed out of utter desperation. If the US army was murdering people in a town in the Sates and that town fought back, I am pretty sure American's would support their people in that town....even if the US government/Army deemed that town a terrorist town! I do not condone terrorism, however it is easy for the British Government to label an organization Terrorist in order to get support to do what they did. They murdered and tortured a lot of people in the North, Bloody Sunday is one of countless examples. Dare we label the mighty British Government a terrorist organization! No we cannot do that. I do not know much about Mr. King but I do know that if he did help bring peace to such a complex situation regardless of who he may have supported ( as one was as bad as the other!) then that's a good thing. That's all I have to say.

You sir are entitle to your opinions, but not your own facts. While the I.R.A was designated a terrorist group by the government you now represent you stood up and supported the terrorists. Or, have your forgotten that you said “We must pledge ourselves to support those brave men and women who this very moment are carrying forth the struggle against British imperialism in the streets of Belfast and Derry.” Or, “If civilians are killed in an attack on a military installation, it is certainly regrettable, but I will not morally blame the I.R.A. for it.” You may now try and spin your actions, but those are your words and the meanings are very clear. Your McCarthy-style hearings will do nothing but stoke anti-Muslim sentiment and increase suspicion and fear on a minority of our fellow citizens. As Americans we do not practice guilt by association, or have you forgotten. Have you no sense of decency, sir!
