Palin: Wisconsin union bosses 'acting like thugs'

(CNN) - Sarah Palin once again sounded off on the Wisconsin budget debate, calling on union supporters to tone down the rhetoric.

The former Alaska governor told Fox News' Sean Hannity union bosses are "acting like thugs" and it is their responsibility to "turn down the rhetoric and start getting truth out there so that nobody gets hurt."

"They are leading some of their good members down a road that will result in, unfortunately, somebody getting hurt if you believe the death threats that are being received by those who just happen to support amending some collective bargaining privileges of state unions," Palin said Thursday.

Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald received two death threats via e-mail, according to a spokesman for the senator.

After weeks of demonstrations in Madison, Wisconsin over collective bargaining rights of public sector union workers, state lawmakers passed an amended version of a bill Thursday that would limit the bargaining rights of most state workers.

In a February Facebook post, Palin encouraged union workers to stand up to their bosses.

"At the end of the day, they're not fighting for your pension or health care plan or even for the sustainability of Wisconsin's education budget," Palin wrote. "They're fighting to protect their own powerful privileges and their own political clout."

The class war allows Sarah Palin to pile-on to help the Republicans drive the middle class into oblivion. This twit knows nothing about the value of unions as a means to control the endless greed of the mega-rich in America's business community. Have we forgotten our past, where workers were forced to endure slavery-like conditions so a small elite could create endless wealth. The unions built the middle class and made America the world's top manufacturing nation. Today's wealthy investor moves their money offshore, reaps obscene profits, and America is dying as result. We need the middle class and as it disappears, so goes our country's future.

She's one to talk about toning down rhetoric. Shut your pie hole, Sarah!! Constantly opening it so the media records EVERY word you say and keeping you in the forefront of people's minds isn't going to make you a contender. Just take the $$ you're amassing and go home. No one wants to play.

NOW you want the others to play nice; after you've been acting like a 5th Grader on every issue you've addressed, you want everybody to start acting like an adult. Try leading by example.

Once again, Palin shows her ignorance. She wouldn't know the truth if it slapped her in the face.

Evidence that she is as dumb as everyone believes? I mean, really, she could just as easily be speaking of Walker...actually, it sounds more like she IS talking about him. From the gold-digging, money-grubbing, limelight-chasing, half term quitter herself. This could quite be the most hypocritical statement she has yet to utter

"at the end of the day" ? This Beauty Pagent Runner Up does not know what day it is, much less what is going on in Wisconsin. Wonder if she even watches FOX Noise unless she is "appearing". That might be her only contact with the outside world . . . FOX Noise.

Don't retreat, reload.....wonder if the hypocrite remembers those words. She needs to spare us the sanctimonious BS.
Oh the irony. The thugs are the Rs who demolished the principles of democracy. Thugs are the Teahadists beating up women counter-protesters. Wouldn't expect the vapid Wasilla grifter to "refudiate" those crass actions. She needs to go somewhere, sit down, and shut up for good.

You have to admire Pain's steadfast determination to spout nonsense, misstate the facts and stay on the wrong side of every issue.

"The former Alaska governor told Fox News' Sean Hannity union bosses are "acting like thugs" and it is their responsibility to "turn down the rhetoric and start getting truth out there so that nobody gets hurt." If this isn't the voice of hypocrisy I don't know what is. Has Palin ever listened to the right wing mouths such as Beck and Limbaugh? Tone down rhetoric? The Democrats can only wish she gets the Republican nomination. I see a Sheen & Palin reality show in the works.

I'm sure that the union representatives are using their considerable clout to have the state police investigate their collective brothers-in-law until they quit before their terms are up. The rascals!

Well said Sarah, what do you suggest they do? "DON'T RETREAT. RELOAD'. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. You are one of the biggest bully and thug around...maybe they have been listening to your incitable rhetoric. Can't wait until you no longer have access to a microphone or camera. That day will come.

And you have the credibility to make ridiculous comments because??? Please explain...because YOUR rhetoric is baseless and just adds fuel to the fire. Palin always has to make her point, put in her two cents into every issue, put blame on anyone she sees fit, but can't take criticism from anyone...unreal.

time for sarah palin to get her name back in the news again with an outrageous faux news quote. i'd like to have palin show that these union 'thugs' have had even one arrest. not just the police forcing the protesters out of the capitol.

Sarah: Thugs? What about you? Your behavior is pretty thuggish if you really think about it. Also, what is the truth that need to get out there so that nobody gets hurt?

Who says the Wasilla Imbecilla is stupid? She learns a little from every mistake she makes.

When she "targeted" Giffords with a surveyors mark, and giffords became an actual target, she was told by those with more sense (everyone but michele bachmann, christine o'donnell, and sharron angle) to stop the rhetoric. So, being the quick learner she is, Sarah looked up rhetoric in the dictionary, and used it in a sentence as soon as she could.

I expect that any day she will call someone a tsunami.

Why are the police and firefighter unions excluded? When you find that out, you'll see what this is really all about. The recall is coming and it's over for the GOP.
