The motion by the media companies, which include CNN, does not seek public release of the sex tape or any intimate photos that might exist.

Washington (CNN) - House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday described the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear crisis in Japan as "beyond biblical in terms of its proportion."
The "humanitarian loss is so tremendous," Pelosi, D-California, told reporters on Capitol Hill, saying the United States is helping with humanitarian and technical assistance, but it's a "huge order."

Washington (CNN) – Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, along with 19 other Democratic senators, penned a letter Wednesday in support of Vice President Joe Biden's effort to maintain government subsidies for Planned Parenthood in the final budget negotiations for the 2011 funding bill.

Washington (CNN) - Nearly two-thirds of Americans have a favorable view of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to a new national poll.
The 65 percent favorable rating for Clinton in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Wednesday is one of the highest ratings she's ever had. Thirty-one percent of those questioned say they have an unfavorable view of Clinton, who's currently in the Middle East dealing with the recent uprisings in the region.
