Washington (CNN) – You can soon add "author" to the distinguished resume of first lady Michelle Obama when she writes an upcoming book about her garden at the White House.
The still untitled book will "tell the story of the garden she has established on the South Lawn of the White House and explore how improved access to fresh, locally grown food can promote healthier eating habits for families and communities," her publisher, Crown Publishing Group, said in a press release announcing the project.
FULL STORY
doesn't matter, I'm sure Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann will find something negative to say about this too
Good for you Mrs. Obama. We need to teach our children to eat better.
Down with cookies from a complete crazy stranger!
I am so proud of you First Lady and your family...
You wake up and inspires so many...
Now our children have someone to look up to
I'm so glad, our First Lady, we have you!!!
Thank you Michelle!
I can"t wait to buy your book mrs. flotus we need more smart women like you may god bless you and your family always. we love you.
I saw this and thought, oh, why not...a garden...Jackie Kennedy might write a garden book, Mrs. Obama's garden probably has more irises that roses...
Then I saw, "healthier eating."
Do we really need veggies in a Victory Garden on the White House lawn?
If I eat more fresh vegetables, will they keep me as muscular and ripped as I am now on a high-protein (Atkins) diet?
Are veggies really what Mrs. Obama eats?
So I wonder who will be first to say they don't need our First Lady pushing her "socialist" gardening on America.
Chapter 1
The land was tilled. We put in seeds. We watered the seeds. Plants grew. We picked the vegetables and ate them.
The End.
The most hilarious thing coming out of this is the number of suckers who are going to buy the book.
