Obama hopes to trace ancestry on visit to Ireland

WASHINGTON (CNN) - President Barack Obama announced on Thursday - St. Patrick's Day - that he will stop in Ireland in May as a side trip from his state visit to the United Kingdom, and that he hopes to visit the birthplace there of his great-great-great-great-great grandfather.

He made the announcement as he met with the Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny in the Oval Office. The birthplace is in Moneygall, he said, adding that he also plans to visit "famous sites" in the country.

I love it! The President is setting the Birthers up for a TKO. He's giving them bait, and they're hateful and bigotted enough to bite it.

Here's a guy who doesn't know where he was born, how does he expect to dig up Irish ancestry?

Maybe on St. Patrick's Day, he should be called President O'Bama. And today, the republicans can be called Pattie O'Furniture, as they just lounge around all day doing nothing.

Oh boy, here we go. Bring it on haters. But before you do would you answer one question? What were you saying
when GW Bush took 977 days of "vacation", some at the ranch, 32% at retreats. And he still holds the record on
vacation time. Then there is that little trip to the Olympics in China, chatting with Putin while Russia invaded Georgia.
And what was that "view" of New Orleans from Air Force One. A little side trip on his way home from Crawford, via a
fundraiser in California? Did he sit in his office watching the two wars he started? Bring it on haters, you are
standing on quicksand and it is sinking fast. Don;t want to talk about the "past". Too bad, the "past" has caught up with
you and it is smacking you in the hind side.

Fox could use a little more cowbell in their lies and hate machine. Their viewers are going nuts.

Must really bug you that the guy is half white, Masters of Spin. Why else the concern for Obama to "dig up (his) Irish ancestry"?

!Obama victim" – you are your own worst enemy, thereby you are your own victim. You seem to love hashing
Reagon over and over again. Well, you are stuck with Bush and Nixon too. Obama is a better President than
those two, but they all love(d) their families and their Country. I hardly call 2 wars "flaws".
