Washington (CNN) – The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raised slightly more money than its Republican counterpart in February, but carries nearly $8 million more in debt heading into the 2012 elections.
The DCCC collected $5.2 million last month and has $5.9 in the bank, but has a debt of $17.3 million, according to data that will be filed with the Federal Election Commission. Conversely, the National Republican Congressional Committee raised $4.9 million in February, has $4.3 million cash-on-hand with a debt of $9.5 million, according to its monthly filing.
The DCCC noted that $1.3 million was spent directly last month to help reduce its debt, while the NRCC noted that $1 million was dedicated to help reduce its obligations.
Yep, Dems are great at debt !
Higher debt and higher contributions. So even the Democrat party itself is tax and spend? At least they're consistent.
Thank goodness for Union Dues, that keeps the DNC money rolling in.
Obama is going to try to buy reelection, with his proposed BILLION dollar war chest. Obama has spent his presidency campaigning, instead of governing. One has to wonder where he is getting the BILLION dollars from, and who he will be obligated to ... certainly not to the American people. If you want to save America, DUMP Obama in 2012 !!!
Democrats good at collecting more money (aka Higher Taxes) but spend more than they have (aka Budget Deficit). Need we say more? Case Closed.
The democrats Wall Street Special Intrest and the Unions can be counted on to fund the DCCC..
I wonder how the GOBP got out of debt so fast after Michael Steele was on spending spree. Things that make you go hmmmm. With all the corporate money going to the GOBP, I doubt if democrats will be able to keep up the pace.
