Obama playing defense over Libya
San Salvador, El Salvador (CNN) - In the end, President Barack Obama apparently decided that photos of himself touring historic remnants of a collapsed society might not be the best image for a commander in chief fending off charges even from Democrats that his Libya policy is in shambles.
The controversy over the decision to use U.S. military force has gotten so intense that at a news conference here Tuesday, Obama calmly pushed back at his critics by declaring the effort to stem the humanitarian crisis in Libya has paid important dividends by avoiding a massacre of civilians.

Until he walks on water and cures every disease his critics will slam him instead of doing something good for their country. Then again that wouldn't be enough to stop people from tearing him down in an attempt to dress themselves up. I happen to believe he is doing better then the best he can do, with what tasks are at hand.Soldier on President Obama !
too bad Mr President because no matter what you would have done or not done the critics were waiting. The same ones that claimed you were too slow in acting have fled as far as backking you when you decided to go in with the allies. I have never been in favor of war, but unlike in Egypt you had a madman here that seemed to have no problem killing his own people and it seems that the US was not the only nation that was not going to stand by and watch it happen anymore. Don't worry because I'm sure the heads of England, France and the other nations are having their critics too.

We need to support our current leader, President Obama, as he continues this “humanitarian” mission in Libya instead of trying to score “personal” political points that MOST Americans will see through anyway and NOT elect their ASH when the time comes!!!
We had three decades to topple Lybia. But no president (yes, that includes Reagan!) has done anything about Gadhafi, except maybe throw a handful of bombs there.
But I am SURE it is ALL Obama's fault somehow...
Obama is playing it smart and the way WE THE PEOPLE wanted it. Americans have become a people who don't want to get involved. Rwanda and Darfur and Somalia and the list goes on. How many did Milosivich slaughter before it became too many? Old Bush 1 allowed Saddam Hussein to murder tens of thousands. We sit back and watch it happen time and again. We are not at war He is stopping the slaughter for once.
