A trio of 'Joes' to help launch an anti-Obama group

(CNN) - Three guys named Joe are teaming up to try and help defeat one guy named Barack.

The Joes, three figures popular among many conservatives, are Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, 2010 GOP Senate nominee Joe Miller of Alaska and Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, better known during the 2008 presidential campaign as "Joe the Plumber."

They are teaming up Thursday night at a launch party and fundraiser in Montara, California for "The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama," a group which is dedicated, as the name explains, to trying to beat President Barack Obama in the 2012 election.

The organization was launched by the "Our Country Deserves Better Committee," a conservative political action committee that's also the parent organization of the Tea Party Express, one of the leading national Tea Party groups.

The new organization hopes to raise money to run ads and build a grassroots network of up to one million supporters by next year's election.

Also scheduled to attend the event are Sharron Angle, last year's Republican Senate nominee in Nevada, and conservative activist Melanie Morgan.

The newly formed group recently ran television ads in Wisconsin supporting Scott Walker, the new Republican governor whose battles with the state's public sector unions made national headlines.

Wow, some real class acts there. Joe Arpio was an idiot when I lived in Arizona, with a limited understanding of peoples' constitutional rights. Joe the Plumber, it turned out he had his own baggage.

These three are sure not G.I. Joe's. The first Joe I really respect, I don't see why this man would let himself be used like this, Joe Miller is a big phoney, an opperturnist, and a sleazy, Joe the Plumber(idiot) If you bleieve this lying man than you get what's comming to you. If America fall for the right wings lie again than let tem just destroy America, I seem that the people of this country are stupid to fall for these liars again. America and American are suckers born every minute.

  5. Joe from CT, not Lieberman

OK, so we have Sheriff Joe with his tank, emu meat, tent prison and pink underwear, "Joe the Plumber" who has been waaay past his 15 minutes, and Joe Miller, Sarah's protege who is incapable of taking a clue. And these guys are starting "Our Country Deserves Better Committee"? The first thing I would do to improve our country is to remove all three of these guys from the United States and drop them in the South end of Ciudad Juarez with just the clothes on their backs and nothing in their pockets. Then tell them that if they can make it back to the border and prove they are Americans, they can get their own reality show about getting away from Mexico on TLC. We will never hear from any of them again!

The rethugs just keep getting crazier and funnier by the minute. They don't have any news ideas, solutions or faces.
Our country does deserve better. A guy not really called joe, a racist lying sheriff and a man who stole money from the AK government and could noy get elected even with the help of what's her face!!!
Oh yes, there in a nutshell are rethug values.
These three joes should change their names to johhny on the spot because that is all they dish out.

I'm sure that there are at least three Erics who want President Obama to serve a second term. I'm surprised that you still find Joe the unlicensed plumber was still 'interesting'. The guy was famous for a fantasy purchase of a business that was never for sale.

There is no leader of, nor leading group of the "tea party".
It started grass roots, and its strength is in remaining as such.
It was and is a constantly growing collective of people fed up of being fed up with being fed up governmental hindrance and intrusion into their personal lives and financial well being.
I was there in the beginning, in real time the morning Rick Santelli on the floor of a Chicago trading floor called the Democrat's misnomer stimulus what it really was for the umpteenth time, but doing so for the first time anyone referenced the phraseology of a modern day 'tea party' as a common sense resistance to it and to the years of other similarly slimy government dictates.
I'll be there in the end, too, simply as an common sense independent who welcomes into said steadfast resistance all comers possessing their own personal and genuine integrity for a common sense, regardless of what party they used to belong to. That last part is the key, because you should never vote because for a candidate solely upon party affiliation (although I admit voting in the last go 'round- and will for the long distance future- specifically against at least one particular party... see: progressive communist socialist democrat).
If there is to be a leader of the 'tea party', and a specific endorsement from any clique calling themselves tea party slow or tea party fast or tea party fill in the blank- it is not M. Bachman, nor Ron or Rand Paul, not Palin or any well known or organized Joes.
If there absolutely had to be a tea party leader elected this afternoon, it would need to be the person with the absolute clearest message- and the only guy I see with that is the pilot/producer/commentator Bill Whittle (see: "What We Believe"- all 7+ parts).
Good luck with the tossing Obama, I'm all for it, but don't buy into the 'we're the tea party commanders' sales pitch.

I'm sure they are gong to try to sell us on the BS that Americans are not in favor of Health Care Reform based on poll numbers that are rarely interpreted correctly. Example, it's true that many of those polled who "oppose" reform, oppose it because the bill did not go far enough (not liberal enough); not because they did not want reform. Obama promised reform and it got watered down to appease the GOP. Don't be fooled. With those numbers factored in well over 50% are for reform; the rest have bought in to the lies they see on Fox. Most of us are tired of paying for the uninsured through higher premiums. Premiums have been rising well before HCR because of that. I work in benefits and have seen it first hand.

Three guys named Joe are teaming up
OMG just tell me what could possibly erupt??
Would they succeed in trying to “…defeat one guy named Barack.”
Is this really doable – I don’t think so – I’m in shock!!

The Joes, three figures that want to play “I Gotcha”
Joe Arpaio, Joe Miller and Joseph Wurzelbacher
They hope to raise money to run ads but WE KNOW
President Barack Obama is someone they’ll NEVER overthrow!!

The "Our Country Deserves Better Committee," is leading
A TP Express extension using another name to be deceiving
And I guarantee they will NOT disclose who the donors are
As they corral around the country hopping from bar to bar!!

Is this really so hidden where most Americans are blind?
Donating towards a cause that is truly undermined?
Three different JOES that set out and really thought
They will fool the American people thinking they can be bought

Jeez!!! Come on NOW!!! (In reality, there will be followers – What a shame!)
