Barbour flew state plane to appear at CPAC, Fox News

(TIME)-On Feb. 11, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, his wife and three aides flew in a luxury jet to Washington for a weekend of politicking, including an appearance on Fox News Sunday and a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference. "Our problem is not that we tax too little," Barbour told the gathering. "It's that we spend too much."

The potential presidential contender may have another problem: Mississippi taxpayers paid the tab for Barbour's first-class travel. State documents obtained by TIME show that Mississippi shelled out $7,020 to shuttle Barbour and his entourage to and from D.C. on its Cessna Citation, a cost that Barbour says is justified by state work he did in D.C. over the same weekend.

Please RUN Mr. Barbour so those of us who are not from the most ignorant, racist and uneducated place in the Union (Mississippi) can RUN YOU RIGHT OUT THE BACK DOOR! If YOU think for one moment this country will EVER let a hick like you represent it's values YOU sir are even a BIGGER fool than all the other rats proclaiming to run on the [R] ticket. To those in Mississippi you are probably a big man but the majority of us would not let you clean our house. So again, RUN.

Is any one surprised? Again, the right telling everyone to "Do as I say, not as I do". It's finacially conservative for him to use tax payers' money for his own convenience, but don't need to spend a dime on those less fortunate than himself. This is exactly what the Republican Party has to offer. And, if you think any of the other clowns in that circus are any different, stay tuned. . .

PLEASE SHOW UP TO THE POLLS IN 2012 AND GET RID OF THESE MORONS!!

If he thinks the problem is ..."It's that we spend too much." ....maybe he should skip the Cessna Citation and take the Greyhound.

Mississippians shelled out $7000 for Boss Hogg to appears on Fox and speak to the criminals at CPAC. At least it only cost their state $3500 because the rest of the tax payers in the United States picked up the rest. Remember the republican way, Mississippi gets $2 for every dollar they send to DC.

From the picture, I thought the story was that Barbour was transported to the CRAP hoe down in a flying saucer.

What do you think Boss Hogg is going to do? Can you blame him for wanting to get out of the state that is number 50 in everything? His idea of success is bringing the rest of the United States down to Ms.'s level. I would love to see him do his good 'ol boy shuck and jive routine in a debate with the Prez and see how far that would go, at least with those Americans who neither believe the world is 8,000 years old nor flat.

Of course he can do it. He's fatso from MS. If the President were to do that they would want to impeach him.
That being said, how did he get to that picnic in NY uring the oil spill? Same plane?
This man still makes me sick to my stomach to look at him!! 🙁
