Beck ending show on Fox
(CNN) - Fox News Channel anchor Glenn Beck will end his daily show later this year to develop and produce a variety of television projects to air on the channel, according to a release Wednesday.
The new agreement between FNC and Mercury Radio Arts will ensure Beck appears on the television network and through other "digital properties."
"Glenn Beck is a powerful communicator, a creative entrepreneur and a true success by anybody's standards. I look forward to continuing to work with him," Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes said in a statement.
"Glenn Beck" launched in 2009. The host previously hosted a show on CNN's sister network HLN.
Howard Kurtz, Washington bureau chief for The Daily Beast and host of CNN's "Reliable Sources" said the split was a "divorce many months in the making."
"By the end, both sides wanted out," Kurtz said in an email. "Beck's show proved too radioactive for Fox, and the network became an uncomfortable home for Glenn Beck."

Glen Beck is to broadcasting what dead air is to broadcasters.
I'm actually kind of sad about this. I'm a liberal, but I found him quite entertaining. It was some what comforting to know the nutjob would be on at the end of the day spouting his crap. As long as his radio show continues I'll be ok. The thirty minutes I catch everyday driving to college are insane but hilarious.That's the thing about Beck, he's conservative but he doesn't talk down to you like other arrogant hosts *Cough* Rush *cough*

Good! This was the soul reason I stopped watching Fox News. Occasionally he makes a good point but usually is just rambling from a nut.
This semi-moron didn't end the show. The more than 400 advertisers that took their adds away ended the show. Even the uber-partisan creatures who run FuxNews couldn't ignore that. This story headline is pathetic.....And the Teatards continue their fairytale that CNN supposedly has a "liberal" bias??
The really sad part is more than 1 million mentally incompetent, genetically challanged beings continued to worship his show every day at the end. And we seriously think the real threat to America is from the 'outside'? Take a look at the House of Reps. and consider just who voted those dangerously stupid [R]s into office. Mr. Beck has done more to split this country than perhaps any television personality in history. He has enormous talent for fear-mongering, information distortion, manipulating and feeding the paranoia, ignorance, and intolerance within a relatively small segment of American society. Mr. Beck, along with other media shills like Rush Limbaugh and Lou Dobbs, is only too eager to feed the fear, anger and mistrust on both sides of the political spectrum. His shows have caused damage to society, and no respectable and responsible media organization should allow Mr. Beck to continue with this.
Oh boy – more extreme conservative Bull Stink from Beck. Before long he and The Donald and Rushy will be talking heads for Extreme Cage Fighting. These guys are all obnoxious and irrelevant – but that's the way it is with Murdock's play toys.

Glenn Beck makes some excellent points and brings to light things that can't be disproved which raises eyebrows. That being said, he is a little too goofy for me to continuously watch but the fact that he makes the left wing liberal enemies seethe with rage to the point of mouth foaming definitely makes me smirk with satisfaction.
I was really excited when I read the headline, but disappointed when I read that this propagandist will still be on the air. Beck is the Goebbels of our generation.
This will give Beck time to root out and expose more of Obama's radical loon socialist friends such as Van Jones.
