I think the best way to solve some of the debt and government closure is to let those go who can most afford it. Let the Confreesmen and Senators go withoout a salary for 2 to 6 months and use that to fund some of the programs. I was appalled that US MilitARY GUYS AND GALS WOULD NOT BE GETTING PAID! My husband was a career man in the Navy. The military are the ones who can least afford not to get paid. Some of these big officials with the big salaries can afford to do without for several months compared to our military!

shut the goverment down now! this will help the middle class because if it last for awhile it will de-value the american dollar. it will make import goods cost more and american goods cost less when compared. demand for american goods will help with unemployment. it will also make buying stocks in american companies cheaper for people in other countries to by and when they do i am sure they will want american companies to invest in the companies to help their investment grow. the rich and american companies are sitting on their money now. it will make it cost more for american companies to build factories and pay labor cost in other countries. the only reason that george bush and the republicans alway pushed for a strong dollar or more valued dollar is to protect the rich and american corperations value that is based on the american dollar. it would be fun to see republicans put it right to their rich buddies and big corperation that they hold so dear for the sake of their ideology! i feel bad for goverment workers but on the other hand going without a pay check will give them a taste of what the rest of america has been dealing with. THE REPUBLICANS WON'T BE HAPPY UNTIL THEY REACH THEIR GOAL OF THE FEDERAL GOVERMENT NOT PAYING FOR ANY PROGRAM BUT DEFENSE ONLY!

The democrats didn't pass the budget fo 2011 in 3 months prior to rethugs taking over, now they are calling the dems names after THEY have gone 3 months without passing a budget. NO SOCIAL ISSUES - MONEY ONLY. I'LL FIGHT FOR WOMEN'S RIGHTS, BECAUSE ONCE THE RETHUGS TAKE AWAY WOMEN'S RIGHTS, THEY'LL GO AFTER MEN'S RIGHTS. (Notice they already want to change WHO CAN VOTE).

Bonehead's contention essentially is that if America were a sinking life raft filled with women, children, military personnel, and rich men carrying huge heavy trunks full of gold boulllions and dubloons, we should throw the women, children, nad military personnel overboard in order to ensure that the raft stays afloat......
    Inglorious bastard that he is.

  10. shut it down and see how much more it will cost to us

Let's shut down the govt, Mr Boehner. When you guys are in furlough, you must not get paid and your golden health insurance must be revoked. You may not be above any other federal servants. We pay tax, a lot of it and you are getting paid to solve problems for common good and not for the riches who hired you. Can we fire these limbos since we are the ones paying their salary, their perks and golden health insurance.

Mr John Boehner It will be the Republican Fault If there a Government shut down. You keep say on CNN that American people want you to do this and American people want you to that . WELL MR. BOEHNER I will tell you what 85% of American people want , And that NO MORE EXTENSION and get a DEAL DONE NOW. We are trier of going though this every week worry about a shut down. What you SHOULD DO MR .BOEHNER IS stop listen to the 15% of the TEA PARTY and man up. And you can tell Mitch McConnell he should do the same. You had your second chance and you blowing It. And believe me you WON"T GET ANOTHER. American people that out number the TEA PARTY want a DEAL DONE NOW you have to Compromise or else.

Well gee, why isn't he crying now? Why anyone on this green earth would trust Boehner is beyond me. He is just like one of the double agents in the fascist movies of the 50's and 60's.

....What Bonehead fails to see is that the children represent the future of America; the military is needed to protect America and especially those rich men and their wealth, and the women are needed because last time I checked men cannot procreate.

So you see Bonehead, the rich need the middle class if only to ensure that they can continue to get rich off of their backs and efforts. Throw us off the boat and see what happens.

When will the working class see our speaker is for class devison. America was built on the many not the rich few. If your rich why not give back to the country that made you rich and help other's achive the americain dream. Avoiding taxes is a crime not a right, we need to take back our country from these selfish class deviders. Mr Speaker our countries infer structure needs fixing and you need to stop being anti americain and help our future growth. We are broke because your party ruined our country making themselves rich. You will be remembered in history with ill intent and the rich will not be there for you in the end..

Can this comedian put his ego aside and allow the government to do what it is supposed to – remember, the Demos won the presidential election, not the Repos.

Can't keep cutting. Increase the revenue streams like letting Bush's ill-conceived tax breaks for the wealthy expire, like having big oil pay their fair share. If the red states don't like the plan, cut off all fed dollars to those states. Let them pay for their own highways, mail, national security, no soc security or medicare, etc.
