Boehner: Still no budget deal

(CNN) - House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said Thursday afternoon that Democrats and Republicans have not yet reached a budget agreement. But "we continue to have productive conversations," he said.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, indicated that he and Boehner would return to the White House at 7 p.m. for additional talks.

Bonehead's contention essentially is that if America were a sinking life raft filled with women, children, military personnel, and rich men carrying huge heavy trunks full of gold boulllions and dubloons, we should throw the women, children, nad military personnel overboard in order to ensure that the raft stays afloat......
    Inglorious bastard that he is.

Financial decisions should be made with moral direction- with respect for human life always. Otherwise the financial decisions are all about money. Just as many would not want their taxes/ funds to go to a corrupt illegal drug business because it is seen as immoral, there are many who do not want their taxes to go to an abortion industry because it is seen as immoral.

In my opinion congress is acting silly. Both sides claim they have great ideas and added great thought to this problem. I say not! If you can not work together to come up with a solution you fail. Both sides remind me of a high school debate team. Great on research but their negotiation skills are lacking. It is like a standoff. . . . you move first. REDICULIOUS. If both sides do not agree on the budget cuts by Friday then MY next move will be at the polls. I guarantee I will NOT vote for the Incumbent REGUARDLESS of their party affiliation. Kimberly, Edmond, OK
