BREAKING: President, congressional leaders fail to reach budget deal

(CNN) - A fourth White House meeting in 48 hours between President Barack Obama and congressional leaders failed to reach agreement Thursday night on a spending plan for the rest of the current fiscal year, increasing chances for a partial government shutdown to begin just over 24 hours.

Dems fault. Held congress before November and couldn't get it done.Americans should hold these clowns accountable for their inaction and inability to do their job.Troops don't get paid after 10 years of war, Obama should seek asylum with Ghadafi.

The Tea party Republicans want to destroy our government and the American way of life. Their insistence on injecting hot-button issues into the federal budget, and placing the lives of so many federal workers at risk is proof of their radical agenda. I promise to work very hard and contribute as much of my income as possible to defeat Republicans in every local, state, and federal election.

I think the American people are fed up with the irresponsible trillion dollar spending that has put our country in obscene debt. The only transparency that exists regarding Obama, is that the public can see through his ridiculous 11th hour attempt to blackmail the Republicans into passing his huge, pork laden budget, or the government will shut down. It's also a travesty that Obama would veto a measure to insure our troops get paid, even if the rest of government shuts down on Friday !!!

  7. GOP = Greed Over People

This lack of a deal should surprise no one.

The GOP ran on not compromising with President Obama and the Senatorial bipedal turtle said his mission was "for Obama to be a one term President".

So the fact they are obstructing the budget bill is what some voted for and what some did not vote to prevent.

With this class divide of the rich and poor and very few in between, and the people voting for the rich and corporations, which will just result in more jobs outsourced until the only jobs left are in the service industry and to feed the few worker bees at lunch.

Indeed, this countries best days are behind us, we used to be compassionate and help each other, but then we screamed we wanted every ounce squeezed out so our stock folio would grow. It grow at the expense of American jobs.

We are ranked 25 in education and with cuts to education in TX that is not apt to change and France is rated as the best medical care by WHO.

So, we have already been left in the dust by countries that some in this country still sneer at, but it does not change the facts.

    1) ISRAEL $3.5 Billions,
    2) EGYPT(9/11)$3.0 Billions,
    3) PAKY(9/11) $3.0 Billions,
    4) AFGHAN $3.0 Billions,

If the government does partially shuts down and we are inconvenienced by it in any way, we will blame the Republicans for playing politics at our costs. They don't give a **** what happens to us, the average Americans. All they care about is themselves, mostly well-off Americans who insisted they needed entended tax cuts they really did not need while blaming the White House for trying to spend taxpayers money to help the truly needy servive – the unemployed, the young students with big dreams but without money, et al. If they were allowed to have their way, they would surely lower unemployment benefits, reduce student aids, minimize social security and medicare benefits, and stand still watching most of us starve to death.

Tell the PARTY OF HELL NO!?!?!?!?!? that we don't negotiate with terrorists or blackmailers.
Stop the war on women and children. No wonder they want to close the Department of Education. Only the stupid and uneducated think that the rethugs in congress are there to help them.
Unless you are rich and own a company neither the rethugs in congress nor the old farts in the supreme court are going to help you!
