Palin calls Obama actions 'appalling'

Washington (CNN) - Calling President Obama's handling of the budget showdown "appalling," Sarah Palin is adding her voice to GOP clamor that he is playing politics with the U.S. military in an effort to get his way on spending.

In a posting on Facebook Friday, Palin blasts Obama for his refusal to sign a Republican-backed bill that aimed to cut spending by $12 billion and fund the Pentagon for the remainder of the current fiscal year.

The president and Democrats opposed the measure because of the programs it would cut, including a provision that would prevent Washington, DC taxpayer money to be used to fund abortion providers.

But Palin charges the president's real concern is about funding such organizations as National Public Radio.

"Essentially, he's holding military funding hostage to NPR funding. This is a perfect analogy for what is wrong with this entire budget showdown," writes Palin. "Our federal government has strayed so far from what is constitutionally mandated that they are blind to the fact that NPR funding is not a constitutional duty. Funding our military at a time of war is!"

"It's about time the President step up to the plate and lead responsibly. Our troops who are putting themselves in harm's way deserve a Commander in Chief who is not AWOL from the debt debate," Palin continues. "The American people deserve a president who will take on the tough challenges and understand that funding 'Car Talk' is not as crucial as funding our troops at a time of three wars."

I think I have this right, Palin refers to Obama's actions as appalling because he will not support the Republicans ONE WEEK funding bill that cuts spending on the same issues keeping the parties from agreeing on a full budget. Further, most of these same issues were funded by Bush for all 8 years he was in office but now is the time for the Republicans to close down the government and dig in their heels on THESE issues. And for this, you claim Obama is the one being appalling, ha! I do not think even God could have saved us if McCain and won and you were the VP. If you run in 2012, making the squad of losers in the Republican field even bigger, the easier it will be for Obama to win. I wish Rudy would run again, but even he is not far enough to the right for most of you clowns who have destroyed the once great Republican party.

I am appalled that Boehner and Palin would play politics with the military to further their ideological arguments. Right back at you Palin.

Didn't she criticize the President recently for getting us involved in Libya without a declaration of War, even though the War Powers Act does give the President that right? What is appalling is the GOP decision to hold women's health in the country hostage, but, we are dealing with the woman who pimped out her daughter's out-of-wedlock pregnancy to score cheap political points, so her shrill, late, idiotic coments are hardly surprising. There has been no mention of NPR in the CR, but never let facts get in the way of her Torettes-style reactive ramblings. She is lying, yet again.

Oh, Sarah Palin. You are quickly becoming irrelevant and Michelle Bachmann and Donald Trump are stealing your thunder. If you only had a brain.

Seriously, Obama's actions are appalling? Go home to Alaska and quit with your stupid comments. To hurt women, the poor, the teachers and the elderly is really what is really appalling!

So who is manning Palin's Facebook page? Someone who understands big words and complete sentences, so it can't be her. If she's so concerned about the wars, where was she when we illegally declared wars on Iraq and Afghanistan? Afghanistan didn't attack us, by the way. Neither did Iraq. If you believe Osama Bin Laden is the instigator of those wars, he is a Saudi.

You need to look yourself in the mirror and tell me you really give a damn about anything other than yourself? What do you offer? Time and again you raise your head and spout your venom, with nothing to benefit America. You attack and snare at Mr. Obama and the Democrats. I witnessed my mother bleeding to death from a botched up abortion for reasons she had no power to control. She was only 28 yrs old. Now, you and those "angels of light" are holding this country hostage. Karma will visit you as surely as your wickedness rise up for no other purpose than to feed your lust to remain relevant. One day, and hopefully soon, you will realize that your importance borders on being a nuisance.

Who cares what Sarah Palin has to say? She has no standing. She gave up her job as governor. She never subjects herself to an interview by a legitimate journalist. Het frequent posts do not demonstrate any depth of understanding of complex issues. She is content to issue short one-liners. She revealed in her interview by Katie Couric that she does not read books, magazines, or newspapers.

Sarah wants to defund Planned Parenthood because no one in her family is making any money from it.

You will always have the Candies Foundation to keep your daughters in the money.

Someone PLEASE tell this idiot to just SHUT UP and GO AWAY!! She couldn't manage her own job as Governor of Alaska, she couldn't win the race for VP – she has NOTHING to say that ANYONE needs or wants to hear. Please quit giving her a platform so that she and her stupid teenage, unwed, hypocritical single-mother of a daughter will both slink back under the rocks from whence they came!

Palin and the the GOP are the only thing appalling in this country – extreme, volatile and destructive. The Dems are spineless for not calling you out on your hypocrisy and support for a fascist, oligarchy government.
