Behind the scenes of the White House budget battle

WASHINGTON (CNN) – In a town where politicians like to keep score the White House isn’t boasting about the victory. “ The American people won,” a top Obama adviser told reporters at a background briefing after the deal was reached. This is a "very good night for the country."

The White House was feeling optimistic that it was on the verge of a deal Thursday night. When Speaker Boehner left the Oval Office meeting, “there was an agreement on range and composition,” said another official.

It about time that John Boehner grew a pair and threw those tea baggers under the "tea party" express bus. If
Michele Bachman thinks she's "disappointed" now, wait until 2012, when her seat us up for grabs. You think she would stand
up for the rights of women. But her hateful agenda comes first. Lesson of the day for Boehner, "Never smile at a crocodile".

Isn't it amazing that this incompetent, inept, corrupt, union toady president whose only real job has been to hand posters on telephone poles for the SEIU, would fight like heck to fund a corrupt democrat liberal financial contributor like Planned Parenthood rather than ensuring that our troops got paid. This Kenyan village idiot needs to go home.

Congress and Obama are acting like 5 year olds and he says the people won. Wrong; the people lost; this country is broke and the cuts were not deep enough. Oh the president wants another vacation while the price of oil goes over $112 per barrel and the wholesale price of gas goes over $3.26 per gallon. Go ahead and take your vacation Mr. President and while you are at it take congress; all of congress with you because the people are losing because you and congress won't stop this non controlled spending and address real issues this country has. Both parties should lose in the next election because the people have lost.

Boehner already has a HIT out on him coming from the Tea Party – They want him OUT!!!! The TP wanted ALL or NOTHING – "Shut 'em Down!" they shouted and their message was heard all over the country!!!

The Republicans may feel that they WON this battle – but I think the WOMEN won this battle!!! It was very clear that the RIGHT was LYING and the LEFT was telling the TRUTH!!! This is what matters to WOMEN – we HATE LIARS!!!!

Thank you STRONG women from the LEFT and you ARE and WILL make the difference!!!
