Michelle Obama and Jill Biden team up to support military
Washington (CNN) – First lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden will travel cross-country to honor members of the military and their families, according to a statement released by the White House Saturday.
They plan to launch a national initiative Tuesday to “educate, challenge and spark action” in support of military families, who have expressed “unique challenges” and a need to connect with their communities.
The duo will make seven stops in two days, highlighting the work of those who regularly support military service members and their families.
Events will include visits to: Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; the Warrior and Family Support Center in San Antonio, Texas; Denver, Colorado; the National Math and Science Competition in Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Columbus, Ohio.

As a member of a military family I say good for them. Our troops and their families need all of the support they can get. The Obama administration cares for these people and wants them to know that they and their families are not alone. God bless our troops and protect them in their mission. And please, please, send them home soon.
What???? Obummie was going to veto a bill to fund the military through the budget year and now he sends his wife and Joe's wife out to say they support the military. How many fools in this country will believe that?

Is this an attempt to soothe the military for all the possible shutdown stress they have endured lately?.....thanks to Congress....or is this just two gals getting some downtime from the hustle and bustle of life in D.C? I'll be waiting to see how Sarah Palin and/or Michelle Backmann can put a negative spin on this. After all it does involve Mrs Obama the woman that wants to force American kids to eat healthy and American mothers to breast feed their children. Oh the horrors of it all.

What wonderful, classy and intelligent women. I'm so proud they represent the left, but work for everyone. To think some people actually hold Palin and Bachmann up as role models. Mrs Biden and Mrs Obama actually put their words into action, they help people. $illy Sarah and Bachmann run around the country condemning everyone, but do nothing to help anyone, they are always the victim of someone, always angry at someone, always attacking someone. What they could learn from these women, if they really cared about America, not about making money or promoting themselves.
