Palin gives Trump some verbal support on birther issue

(CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin supported Donald Trump's decision to hire investigators to examine President Barack Obama's birth, but stopped short of embracing the birther wave.

"I appreciate that the Donald wants to spend his resources in getting to the bottom of something that so interests him and many Americans. You know, more power to him," Palin said Saturday on Fox News. "He's not just throwing stones from the sidelines, he's digging in, he's paying for researchers."

Trump's media rampage over the president's birthplace continued Sunday in an appearance on CNN's "State of the Union," where he once again implored the president to produce his birth certificate. Thursday on NBC, the real estate mogul said he sent a team of investigators to Hawaii.

In 2008, the Obama campaign released a copy of the certificate, saying the serial number was blacked out for concern over Hawaiian procedure. Since then, many news organizations and the Annenberg Fact Check Project saw the original with the serial number, an embossed seal and a stamped signature.

But when asked about her views on the issue, Palin said she thinks the president was born in Hawaii.

"Well, you know, I think that he was born in Hawaii because there was a birth announcement put in the newspaper," Palin said. "But obviously if there's something there that the president doesn't want people to see on that birth certificate that he's going to great lengths to make sure it isn't shown. And that's kind of perplexing for a lot of people."

Morons flock together like Palin and Trump neither will ever be president. The birther issue has been disproven for years now.

Can people really be this stupid and ignorant? He produced the certificate already, it has been verified by all manner of officials and he wouldn't be in the Oval Office if he didn't do so or was born elsewhere. This is the height of racism and attaching your name to it won't get you elected. In fact, attaching your name to it will make sure you are never taken seriously again. Even Pailin says she thinks Obama was born in Hawaii and if she is considered the lunatic fringe (she is) then where is Trump going with this? Nowhere, that's where. Don't waste your money Donald, you will never even get through the nomination.

Of course she does. What does anyone expect this idiot and opportunist to do? If people can be disqaualified for their mental incapacity, it would be great.

"Obsequious , mal-educated tool of Roger Ailes says what?"

I have a topic for a much more interesting investigation: after reading her application documenting the 5 years at 5 different colleges without managing to actually graduate, why did the admissions staff at the last school admit her?

One stupid person supporting another stupid person just to get press. This woman proves to everyone time and time again that she's a true idiot. In terms that maybe even she can understand, she has a 22 caliber mind in a 357 magnum world.

"But obviously if there's something there that I can exploit and pin on the president and claim that he doesn't want people to see on that birth certificate that I'm alluding to so that I can tap into people's basic fears of "the other", and I claim that he's going to great lengths to make sure this unknown thing but scary thing isn't shown. And that's kind of easy to do with a lot of simple-minded people." Way to go, Sarah.

Like the average intelligent American doesn't realize how an "investigation" led by Trump will lead to giving Trump the conclusion he wants and is paying millions for. How can we believe anything that these "investigators" will turn up? When you bankroll a team and are already publicly declaring your point, it's pretty obvious where it will lead...

Anyone who wonders why the Obama Administration doesn't engage this crud, shouldn't. If a bunch of idiots kept insisting the world is flat, how long would you keep arguing with them before you just dismiss them? We are well past this dismissing stage. Anyone who pushes this BS is revealing a lot about themselves and nothing about the President's citizenship. It's a settled issue.

Here's what doesn't get mentioned very often.

In order to produce a newspaper article announcing the birth of Barak Obama... there would have to be a conspiracy. A coverup involving more than one person. The editor would have to be in on it, as well as others. For the article would have to be produce recently and also inserted into the archives. In fact they would have to reprint the whole page from that day on paper that looked old... or WAS old, and then methodically destroyed any papers left in the archives which conflicted with the story that 'they' were trying to present. So the printers would have to be involved as well. The ink was different back then. It wasn't soy based. So, the editor, the printers,(you cant' run a big press by yourself), and the archivists whose job it is to file these papers, or even put them on microfiche. That's how it was done then. Maybe they could transfer all of those past editions into a computer file, but, even then, it would be a pretty arduous and painstaking process to do all of these things. The fonts would have to be exactly the same. The spacing between the letters would have to reflect type that was 'set', not like it looks today. All of that would be different and you could analyze it even if it was just a computer file.

And other records would clarify falsification claims. If his mother lived in Hawaii and a birth announcement was made, it says who the mother is. And she would have to live somewhere in a house which she owned or rented. And records would exist of these things. The 'conspirators' would have to have faked any of those documents as well.

Like wise Two idiots only make a wise choice for president nomination for the Republican party.
Unfortunately, there are mucho Americans who rather believe a lie than the truth.

Everyone is aware what happened to Katie Couric's predecessor as CBS Evening News anchor, Dan Rather when he challenged a sitting President's credibility on a personal issue. The guy made it from 1981 to 2005, but when he said GWB was an airplane driver slacker, he was forced out.

If Sarah and Donald can't find issues that are more important, maybe they should be advising and not running. Unfortunately, the President "got religion" in the latest mini budget battle and realized that the votes for all those freshman
Congressional representatives really did mean that the voters were making their decision against spending and big government. That's a big issue to take off the table, and its real.

Palin wants it both ways. AGAIN. She tries to avoid the "Birther" tag by recognizing that Obama was born in Hawaii, and tries to curry favor with the Birthers by supporting Trumps willful ignorance. Sorry Sarah, you're either a Birther or you're not. Pick a side and live with the result.

"the" Donald should disclose his financial statements and bankruptcy filings. He won't because then everyone would see that his is a fraud. I suspect that he gets most of his cashflow from his reality show and now he has a new contract with Fox. Many of his bisness ventures have failed. He has admitted that he cheats in bisness and brags about it.
