Palin to GOP: ‘Learn how to fight like a girl’

(CNN) – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin challenged GOP leaders to “fight like a girl” Saturday at a Tea Party Tax Day rally in Madison, Wisconsin. Unafraid to “take on the GOP establishment,” she offered suggestions to garner Tea Party support.

“If you stand by your platform, if you stand by your pledges, we will stand with you, we will fight with you, GOP, we will have your back,” she declared.

“What we need is for you to stand up, GOP, and fight. GOP leaders need to learn how to fight like a girl.”

The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee heralded Madison as an example for Republicans to follow by recalling the Wisconsin legislature’s approval of a controversial bill that restricts the collective bargaining rights of unions.

“I’m in Madison because this is where real courage and real solidarity can be found,” she said.

“You saw these violent rent-a-mobs trash your capital and vandalize businesses. You held your ground. Your governor did the same thing. And you won.”

Palin defended Gov. Scott Walker’s union-limiting legislation because “he understands that states must be solvent to keep their promises” and “a pension is a promise that must be kept.”

And the possible 2012 GOP nominee hopeful painted events in Madison as a lesson Republicans can learn from. Criticizing GOP leaders for promising to cut $100 billion in federal spending but compromising at $38 billion in the recent bipartisan budget agreement, Palin said, “That’s not courage, that is capitulation.”

She also had strong words for the president, blasting him for getting the country into a “third war” it can’t afford, cutting off oil development and “misrepresenting” deficit spending.

“You ignored us in 2010,” she said. “But you cannot ignore us in 2012.

And to the crowd gathered in Madison, Palin promised a place in history.

“When the history of the Tea Party is written, what you accomplished here will not be forgotten. And the 2012 election begins here,” she affirmed.

To drive the point home, Palin recalled the Green Bay Packers’ 2011 Super Bowl win, saying, “What better place to call out the liberal left and let them know, Mr. President, game on!”

Miss-information strikes again. Collective bargaining rights have nothing to do with balancing the budget. The unions already agreed to the cuts and pay-ins that the governor had requested (even though his deficit was caused by tax cuts to millionaires). Then again, one can't expect honesty from a third-rate political hack like Palin.

Instead of fighting, learn to act like a decent human being. Do something about getting your family to stop shaming you.....if it is possible for you to feel shame.

what an insult to all women she just claimed. Here is a woman that QUIT her job telling someone to "fight like a girl". Does that mean not confront people and hollar insults from FoxNews, FaceBook and Twitter? Well that is how Sarah fights. Her numbers are in the tank, more people are seeing she's a "paper tiger" and the thrill is gone. One thing Palin said on her India trip I do agree with is when she said some Republicans were like "sheep", following anything and everything without much thought behind it. I'm sure those sheep were the ones at that rally today.

Aren't the Tea Party people also members of unions? How can they keep fighting against their own best interests? They are apparently an ignorant bunch, and the GOP knows this better than anyone else. That's why they keep pandering to them.

Half term governor Surveyor Sarah the twitter teetin twit wants the republicans to cry and pout. That's nothing compared to what it will be after the election. When the history of the Tea Party is written it will be Madison that brought out the fact that the Tea Party has become a division of Koch Corp. It brought out their true intentions to destroy public education, infrastructure and the middle class, all for the profit of corporations.

Why does this Palin person demand so much undeserved attention? Those at the rally today could not hear her because the boos of the non- Tea Party folks drowned her out with their boos and the Tea Party was outnumbered over five to one. Why doesn't CNN report that – it's much more relevant than anything she has to say. Where is balanced reporting? Why do crackpots like Palin and Trump have every word they say reported when they are not serious candidates?
