(CNN)–A number of GOP presidential contenders have formed exploratory committees - allowing them to raise money and hire staff - to build a campaign infrastructure. Depending on how that paperwork was filed, some of them are technically already running for president.
However, many of these prospective candidates are purposefully being vague about whether they are actually planning to launch a full presidential campaign and how long they intend to explore their options. CNN Correspondent Lisa Sylvester looks at whether political games are being played.
With Trump measuring his putz against Romney's ( in terms of dollars), and with the rest of the GOP circus poised on the sidelines waiting for the perfect strategic moment to enter the race officially, and then the blood bath that will follow in the Gop primary debates, they may actually have no one standing. Maybe Sharon Angle will rise from the pile. OH~! Or Christine O'Donnel! I have never seen a party in such disarray. It is historic. And then with the tea baggers, they have even more internal party shattering. So, no viable candidates, and internal strife. My grandparents were republicans, but I know if they were alive today, they would not recognize this group of hate-mongering, white-trash, truly stupid, false Christian ideology bearing, exclusive, riff-raff, rabble. Our country deserves so much better and these are the candidates? I think the GOP will be stunted for a while. After Bush and after McCain's last ditch-witch effort, this makes me very happy.
I vote games
It seems all Republicans do these days is play political games.
The only exploratory they should be contemplating is a colonoscopy.! Leave it to Colbert 🙂 🙂
