Palin mocks Couric over CBS exit

(CNN) – As Katie Couric gets set to leave CBS News after five years in the anchor chair, it doesn't appear as if Sarah Palin will be sending any flowers.

Appearing on Fox News Tuesday, Palin mocked the CBS newswoman who told People Magazine she is looking forward to a new position that will facilitate "multi-dimensional storytelling."

"Yeah, and I hear that she wants to now engage in more 'multi-dimensional story telling' versus I guess just the 'straight on, read into the, that teleprompter screen story telling,'" Palin said. "More power to her. I wish her well in her - 'multi-dimensional story telling.'"

Palin has repeatedly made clear she is still no fan of Couric, whose interview with Palin produced one of the most memorable political foibles of the 2008 presidential campaign.

In a series of interviews with Couric authorized by the McCain campaign, Palin stumbled over a number of questions, most memorably when asked, "When it comes to establishing your world view…what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read?"

Palin appeared unable to name a single publication – a performance for which she was much maligned – and later said she found the question insulting, as well as emblematic of a liberal slant in the mainstream media.

More proof of the Barracuda's vindictiveness...still doesn't erase the fact Couric whooped her by exposing her ignorance...

Sarah Palin would be quite lucky to have the intelligence, tact, curiosity and worldwide professional respect that Katie Couric enjoys and has earned from working hard for her 30 year career. Her and Trump, neither one of them can let go of the slightest perceived insult and have to pursue their resentments to the detriment of all of us. Not at all ready for prime time.

At least Couric managed to complete the terms of her contact unlike Palin who quit before her term was over. More hypocrisy from the Alaskan blowhard.

Couric is still obviously a much bigger woman than Palin, who is incredibly, pathetically small and simple minded. I hope she can get the mental health help that she so desperately needs.

Palin's too stupid to know what "multi-dimensional story telling" is. She just tells plain ole lies.

And to think that some people want this vile idiot to be their president. All Couric did wrong in Palin's feeble mind is to ask which books and magazines she reads. Doofus couldn't think fast enough except to say "all of them." Stupid is as stupid does.

When the going gets tough, quit.

Palin is a fool and a tool. Still fuming because Ms Couric (thankfully) showed America and the world what a dim wit you are, aren't you?

No Sarah, it's not a leftist liberal slant, it's merely someone doing their job wanting to know where you get your information from, and how it shapes your world view...Nothing liberal biased about just got caught short, and you showed your inexperience, and poor judgement by making s snarky remark. It's like coming to any job interview unprepared and then having a temper tantrum that you didn't get the job. Grow up lady....grow up. You can't let go of the fact that you screwed up, showed your true colors. Just because you're a "straight shooter" doesn't make you an appealing candidate, much less a thoughtful one. Just because you shoot off your opinion the loudest , and it makes people yell "YEE-HAW!" and wave their American flags harder, doesn't make you right. It may make you popular with certain people, but it doesn't make you right, nor make you the right person for the job for all of America. Big difference there Sarah. I wish Eisenhower was still alive to give you a good hard firm spanking. He was the best Republican president America ever had, not Reagan....and certainly not anyone from your ilk, and what the Republican party has devolved into. Too bad I can't hook up wires to Ikes body, because our nations energy problems would be solved the way he's spinning in his grave.

Palin can relate to multi-dimensional story tellling or multi-delusional story telling. All her stories are lies.

Juvenile reaction from Palin. Such uncivilized behavior from someone who aspires to be a world leader.

At least Couric did not quit her job in the middle of her contract. She stayed to the end, no matter how hard the job got or how much criticism she received so she is a winner in my book. Sarah Palin has a so called degree in journalism, but I find that so hard to believe when she opens her mouth to talk about anything. She is so jealous of Katie and all those brains and all the integrity she possess!

Geez Palin, get over it. she asked what you read, not how many guys you have been with. Give it a rest.

seems as if multi-dimensional story telling is somethig Palin is quite familiar with. I just can't figure out what dimension she lives in.
And, of course, asking about here literary interests is insulting to someone who has none.

Did Palin get the story of Couric's exit be reading the newspaper... you know, "all of them"?

Of course Sarah the Quitter is gonna slam Katie Couric. This is the person who showed the rest of America how shallow of a character the-Former-Governor-of-Alaska-who-Quit-Half-way-In-Her-Term has. Even when Couric practically handed her the answers to her questions, Palin (sorry, I got tired of insulting this mindless idiot) blew it.
So now, Palin goes on her Rupert Murdoch funded complaint show to rag on the person who, thankfully, cost her the Vice Presidency! Yeah, like this cardboard cutout caricature (wow, that was worthy of Sprio) knows about multi-dimensional reporting. She cannot even keep her made-up facts straight.

When can we expect Sarah Palin to stop blaming everyone for her own mistakes? Couric asked a few simple questions that not-ready-for-prime-time Palin could not answer. Accept responsibility for your own ignorance girlfriend!

After all this time, Palin should simply admit she was not prepared to be VP in 2008. That question ("what newspapers do you read?") was not a liberal or conservative question...but it was illuminating.

Shortly after the controversy over that origianl Couric interview, I saw a clip of Palin before a crowd mentioning the condescending manner in which Couric asked the question. SOmething top the tune of: "What do YOU read UP THERE in Alaska". Very condescending.

EXCEPT is Didn't happen! I found a clip of the original interview, and there was no 'up there' in the question, no reference to Alaska, nothing other than a reasonable question which is asked of many candidates. "What books and publications do you read?"

Palin is such a lightweight that she constantly screws up in interviews and then lies about it to make it look like she was attacked and not as stupid as she came across. She is a liar and a quitter and her 15 min of fame should have been over by now.
