Sec. Clinton: 'A murderer is dead'
WASHINGTON (CNN) - "A murderer is dead and justice has been done," Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told reporters Monday about the death of Osama bin Laden. "America and the world is safer and more secure."

Already people are saying this was just a diversion (gee, wonder if they're republicans). THEY are saying this was to take our minds off high gas prices - GET REAL - prices are dropping where I live and have been for over a week. Grow up whiners.

Mrs. Clinton, use this outcome [ and the NATO strike that almost killed him] to convince the Colonel to seek assylum somewhere else.
And now for some irony... Some of the intel for this came from a GITMO prisoner. Now if the liberals and Democrats had closed it down and set everybody free like they wanted, would this raid have been possible?

I wasn't certain that Bin Laden was still alive or if he died in some mountain cave and we would never know. I guess his decision to live in comfort instead of hiding like a rat in a cave was his true downfall. Our military is the best in the world. Navy Seals are the best of the best! Taking out the Somalian pirates and Bin Laden – all I can say is "amazing." Thank you, Pres. Obama for keeping your focus on the goals that are critical to our national security.
The republicans are already giving Bush credit when all he did was divert the troops to Iraq.
Thank you President Obama for catching this bastard that murdered so many people. And thank you Navy Seals.

Just because bin laden was killed under obamas watch, doesn't mean that he must be re-elected. We must remember that our country has unthinkable debt (14+ trillion and growing), unemployment at 8.8 to possibly 20 .0+, the horrible obamacare, high gas and food prices, looming national security, and so much more. obama must not and will not be re-elected to a second term. America can't take anymore of obamas socialist ways. Vote for the Republican candidate in November 2012.

No, gord, the republicans have already figured out what to say about this: Bush's secret prisons and torture methods provided the information Obama needed to get Osama. But Obama has closed those prisons and eliminated the torture methods. Therefore Obama is making us less safe and Bush was right to torture and secretly imprison people.
