Cindy McCain blasts Glenn Beck
(CNN)– Cindy McCain isn't a fan of conservative host Glenn Beck. The wife of Arizona GOP Sen. John McCain tweeted her disdain for the departing Fox News pundit Wednesday saying, "I'm so glad Glenn Beck is leaving Fox. Enough vitriol and hate."
And if Beck was confused about his role on the network, which he's often equated with being an entertainer, Mrs. McCain sought to clear it up.
"Glenn, you are no rodeo clown," she said. "They are decent and nice. You aren't."
Beck might count two McCains with hard feelings since Meghan McCain later retweeted her mother's comments to over 107,000 followers. Cindy McCain has just under 6,000. Later, Meghan McCain sent a tweet of her own: "Does anyone know if Glenn Beck has daughters?"
Beck announced his split with Fox News in April, but will continue to develop and produce a variety of television projects to air on the channel, according to a joint statement. His daily show will end later this year.

Cindy, give it a rest. Do the Republican party a favor and join the Democrats.
There seems to be a real disconnect with this article. It doesn't say why these women are upset. With Beck, it could have been any of thousands of comments that may have, and probably were, offensive. Stating what it was specifically that set them off would help put it into context.

Why is Cindy McCain blasting Beck in public? There has to be a reason. Maybe the McCains are distancing themselves from the crazies because he wants to run again. Wow. What a thought.

It is amazing how Cindy McCain only decided to voice her true feelings after her husband lost his bid for the White House. I guess that is an example of "staying true to your principles."

Beck is not worth my time to comment. I have accidentily surfed to fox in late afternoon and my body cringes when I see the man on TV. He is either a prostitute by selling himself as a conservative or a sick man. I can't stand to see him long enough to to make an opinion. Unfortunately he has become a millionaire with it either way smiling all the way to the bank.

She's right! Beck isn't GO – he wants to be – but he isn't. Actually, he started out fine a few years ago, and then someone (maybe a secret wide-stance mistress), told him he is God Almighty.

Mr. Beck will go after anyone with whom he disagrees. It is a wise move to just ignore him and what he says. His exaggerations and misinformation charms his followers but he has made a few people upset and angry and they are Republicans. The problem is they are not conservative enough.
I hope some Republicans begin to move away from the extremists and agree to get this country moving forward by offering the Dems some bipartisan move.
