Obama requests 2 more years for FBI chief
Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama is seeking a two-year extension of the 10-year term of FBI Director Robert Mueller, the White House announced Thursday.
Mueller's current term expires September 4.

"Given the ongoing threats facing the United States, as well as the leadership transitions at other agencies like the Defense Department and Central Intelligence Agency, I believe continuity and stability at the FBI is critical at this time," Obama said in a written statement.

I trust the President's judegement. Not to mention that Director Mueller has done a spectacular job as director.

Why does he need to extend this 2 years? Is finding a replacement that difficult? Or would it distract the President from his other high priorities like campaigning, fund raising, golfing, photo ops, etc?
There's a reason it's ten years, which is long enough.. shades of j.edgar hoover, the homosexual in the closet political blackmailer.. never again.. Mueller isn't running investigations.. new blood is what is needed!
