Meghan McCain takes it off

(CNN) - Meghan McCain's taking it all off in a new ad.

The outspoken daughter of former Republican presidential candidate, Sen. John McCain is appearing in a new public service announcement on the Style Network to warn against the dangers of skin exposure.

McCain appears alongside recognizable faces like musician Brandy and actresses Tatyana Ali and Danielle Fishel, among others, seemingly naked to promote the message that "If you leave the house without sunscreen, you might as well be naked."

The Arizona senator's eldest, writer daughter responded to criticism via Twitter Wednesday.

"Pundits in DC can calm themselves. I filmed a skin cancer PSA in a strapless juicy tube dress. All you can see is my collar bone," she wrote. "Both of my parents have had skin cancer, everyone should be aware of the extreme dangers the sun presents."

Wonder what Palin has to say about this, it's simple enough for her to talk about because she goes into hiding when the subjects of economy/deficit are headlining and simple stuff like a rapper lyrics. Come on Sarah, you can handle this subject, make your usual limited comment.

I wouldn't want to see any of these women naked except for Tatyana Ali.

Say what you will about young Ms. McCain – at least she can pick a target we can all get behind attacking. It's not like the ignorantly went after a hip hop artist she knew nothing about.

Good for you. Being a skin caner survivor from being out in the sun for two years diving in the Keys, this is an important message to get out. I was the big, tough, male ego person that nothing could harm. Guess what, the sun don't give a darn who you are, and wala skin cancer forms. Preception is what commercials or public service messages are, and you did it well!

How is Palin going to outshine another McCain on this one...? Palin doesn't like people taking away her thunder.....Sarah's been dragging around her winky tired pageant bikini for 3 years now.

But to get back to the point…what a bold move by Meghan McCain; not really a political issue, but skin cancer is a serious medical issue though.

Awsome, just awsome, go for it Meghan. You are a breath of fresh air coming from a musty old closet. Don't ever conform!

Her dad is never running for pres again. He's 74.
I say go for it. She's making young Republicans look hip as Sarah Palin and Beck destroys what's left of the party's credibility.

At least she has brought more attention to an important health issue. How many of us would have even heard of this PSA without McCain's involvement?

The McCains should be proud of this young lady. She speaks her mind and support good causes. The Palins could learn a lot from her.

At least Meghan is reasonably attractive physically, and actually makes sense politically part of the time, unlike Palin and Bachmann. In their case, inner ugliness overwhelms outward appearance. BTW, pls don't use the words "Sarah Palin" and "bikini" in the same sentence ever again – just the idea is enough to make me barf.
