Washington (CNN) - Two U.S. lawmakers joined the call Thursday for the release of photos of Osama bin Laden's body, after seeing the images themselves.
"These are very graphic, gruesome pictures," said Rep. Doug Lamborn, R-Colorado. But seeing them "gave me a sense of finality and closure."
Members of Senate and House committees that deal with intelligence and military matters have been invited to see the photos. Some of his colleagues had declined the offer, Lamborn said. He did not name those lawmakers.

no need. we believe!!!
I think it shouldn't be released. Why do we need to give more excuses for the cr@zy people to come after us?? Leave it the way it is so this news cycle can go away and we can put this story to rest.
They do not need to be released. Hell with these lawmakers. My next question to these idiots. Do they also call themselves Christians ??
is President Obama the only POTUS that always has to PROVE everything he does? They are already saying here on the news that perhaps TOO much information may have been released about out troops and this mission..why on earth do more people need to see this man with half of his face blown off? The people that do NOT want to believe bin Laden is dead STILL won't believe it even if you show them these pictures and a death certificate. So what's the point?
