I wonder why??? Do all these people resigning see the same thing we see??? A complete shellacking in 2012. I guess they want to get an early start on looking for the new job. They'll be a real load of them looking after November 2012.

I sure hope it isn't because of illness. He doesn't look well. Best wishes for him. A few others should take the hint and know when they've dipped too many times into the well. (HINT McConnell).

If my chief executive was instructing me to uphold peace by apologizing to and appealing to the most unruly, unethical, and immoral people on the planet while turning my back on the only true free Democracy in the entire region, I'd probably quit too.

Here's to my HOPE we CHANGE it back in 2012.

    @ Democrat Class Warfare
Your multiple comments on these posts makes me believe you are no better than the Democratic supports (Diridi, Dominican Momma, T'sah, etc.), in that NONE of you offer any kind of advice – it's always that same "blame the other guy/the other guy is always wrong" tactic that both Republicans and Democrats continue doing to this day.

Here's an idea, why don't you all come up with some ideas of your own and share them...anything?? anyone?? How do we expect our elected officials to have civil, rational conversations with their counterparts when no one here wants to do the same?

Probably for the same reason that people like Axelrod and several others have left. To spend more time on his re-election campaign, although I would assume that Amb. Mitchell has a much different reason.
