Obama: U.S. would go after other high-profile targets in Pakistan

(CNN) - Given the chance, the United States would go after high-value terrorism targets in Pakistan or elsewhere in the same way it took out Osama bin Laden, President Barack Obama made clear in an interview with the BBC broadcast Sunday.

"We are very respectful of the sovereignty of Pakistan, but we cannot allow someone who is actively planning to kill our people or our our allies' people, we can't allow those kind of active plans to come to fruition without us taking some action," Obama said in the interview conducted last week. "And our hope is and our expectation is that we can achieve that in a way that is fully respectful of Pakistan's sovereignty. But I had made no secret. I had said this when I was running for the presidency, that if I had a clear shot at Bin Laden ... that we'd take it."

Unfortunately, that was a one time deal with Pakistan, and they're ready to shoot on site the next time we try it. Obama is going to lead us to yet ANOTHER war, if he doesn't keep his cockiness in check and learn when to zip his lip. He's got bigger problems to worry about right now (i.e. the ECONOMY), than flexing his golf ball biceps.

Thank you President Obama for keeping us safe, and not just saying you would like Bush did.

Thank GOD we don't have to listen to chicken Shrub cockily strutting around yelling about getting Bin Laden and his friends any more. Maybe now he can shoot off his six-guns and keep his mouth shut.

Thank you President Obama for your honesty and humility in all your dealings with the hate-filled world.

Bush did more than you think. YOU were safe, while I was serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, getting shot at, keeping the enemy on their home turf, so they wouldn't come over to our home. You're welcome.

It's unfortunate in many ways that we had to make the strike into the heart of Pakistan, but it was the right call. Pakistan's military and intelligence agencies have been compromised in too many places. Obama needs to emphasize that the problem is not the entire Pakistani government, but rather those elements within the government who have terrorism agendas.

You may not like him, but you have to respect Obama for being willing to make a hard call.

It is all about being in business and being serious on it. Go and dig them out Mr. President. You showed them the huge example and whoever is there hiding and getting prepared to harm, he will be dealt with accordingly and suffer the consequence! As simple as that!
