Tweet of the Day: Perkins mocks Mitch Daniels

@tperkins: Gov. Mitch Daniels bowed out of the presidential race over the weekend. Proving that the "truce" really does set you free–to stay home.

Tony Perkins is the president of the Family Research Council, a conservative Christian organization. His tweet is a reference to Daniel's repeated calls for Republicans to focus on fiscal and economic issues 2012 election. Daniel's proposed "truce" among Republicans on social issues earned him ridicule from the religious and socially conservative factions of the GOP.
