Obama's toast to the queen interrupted by the orchestra

LONDON (CNN) - President Barack Obama's toast to Queen Elizabeth II on Tuesday was interrupted when the orchestra at the state dinner began playing "God Save the Queen" before Obama finished.

Following the queen's toast to him and the playing of the U.S. national anthem, Obama began his toast by thanking her and commenting on her reign and the close ties between their countries. The president then asked the guests to stand and join him in toasting the queen.

The purpose of so many rules is to make guest always feel comfortable. The conductor made an error and our President continued totally unraveled by the conductors error. The Audience was frazzled, but oh well.. really it is not a big deal at all.

More importantly doesn’t Michael look good in the Blue Dress with the bright-pink jacket.

Once again It was Obama who showed his lack of knowledge and protocol to a foreign host. It was not the orchestra interrupting. She is a queen. Obama is not a King no matter what the left thinks. What he did was like talking and toasting during our National Anthem. And whats with signing of Westminster Abbey guest book the guest book and dating it May 24 2008. I think he has been around Biden to long. Or maybe he was thinking of the 57 states he traveled while on his campaign.

The musicians were wrong. If somebody is talking you don't start music.

President and Mrs Obama looked beautiful.
The Queen is an elegant lady.
The dinner was elegant and beautiful
Only the second President of the United States to receive a State Dinner from Britain, which shows respect for him
    and for America.
I am proud of my President
    The haters will hate,
    The press will report,
    America will stand tall,
    And the band played on.
I didn't see any report that he became ill at the table and "decorated" the floor with dinner, or that he "massaged"
anyone's back, or tried to get out of the room through a locked door, sooooooooooo
    What's the problem?

I am amused at CNN's spin. Pres. Obama was forced to read from cheat sheets. I guess he did not have his teleprompter with him. He then took a long pause. That is when the orchestra began to play. Its all about protecting the President from criticism.
