Special delivery from Romney to Obama
(CNN) - Call it a gift from Mitt Romney to President Barack Obama.
The former Massachusetts governor and 2008 Republican presidential candidate, who next week will formally announce his second bid for the White House, was in the president's hometown of Chicago Thursday.
Among other events, Romney met with small business owners to talk about jobs and the economy. The setting was Gino's East, a famous deep dish pizza joint in a city known for its deep dish pizza.
After the event was over, Romney campaign officials had the leftover pizza slices delivered to Obama's re-election campaign headquarters. In fact, Romney tweeted about his gesture, saying "Great deep dish at @ginoseast. Sending the extra slices to @barackobama and his Chicago HQ team."
A source with the Obama campaign confirmed the pizza was delivered, but no word on whether the slices were actually enjoyed, or thrown out.

Blatant racism? Please. These pranks go on between camps more often than we know (or the media cares to report about). The joke was a simple jest at a lousy president. If I am considered a racist for saying so, then so be it.
How childish Mitt but humorous. The President didn't send a box of Boston Baked Beans to your campaign headquarters.

This seems to foreshadow the domestic policies Romney would implement; "Let them eat pizza."
President Obama has a unique way of turning the table on his opponents. Remember when he trumped and trampled on
Donald at the WH correspondent's dinner and then interrupted his show to announce the death of OBL? Mitt and Tpaw
are setting the stage for name calling and classless, disrespectful behavior. They are going to say and do more ugly
things until they will eventually drop out of the race. All of them will bow out in disgrace in just a matter of time.
