Obama visits tornado-ravaged Joplin; renamed hospital reopens

(CNN) - President Barack Obama visited tattered Joplin, Missouri, on Sunday as the town marked a week since a tornado packing winds of more than 200 mph struck, destroying neighborhoods and killing more people than any other U.S. tornado since modern recordkeeping began in 1950.

It was the third time in a month Obama visited a community savaged by a terrible act of nature to comfort survivors and talk with local leaders about rebuilding.

Simply ...WOW! I can't think of a harder working president. He just goes about his business on behalf of the American people despite all the hateful, unfounded criticism from the racists, and money grubbing GOP/Tea puke-sters. I would need a vacation after all these disasters. I can't count them anymore.

Grow up and become american and support this president as he supports us. Now....5, 4, 3, 2, 1 let the hate start once again for this president from .... Well, the usual suspects as they post their usual hate for this guy. I hope they all get a horrible case of diarrhea. It will be similar justified and go along with all the dung in their heads.

How much harder does our president have to work! I just think about what he's done over the last two months, MS floods, NASA launch to support the husband of a fellow dem, who was shot in the head, correspondence dinner (which as great by the way) and then, killing OBL...a Not-Mission Accomplished left him by the previous administration.

Hate this president at your own peril. I hope you look in the mirror and see the non-american that you are and decide to leave this great country. Truly, do the rest of us a favor!

Well, finally after two weeks this admitted drug user sitting in the White House is going out for a photo op in Missouri. I guess he got tired of hob nobbing with Europe.

Pay no attention to the haters. They will never vote for him anyway.

The republicans will tell you ANYTHING to get elected, and (as witnessed over the last few months) go after women's rights, voting rights, medicare, medicaid, social security once they have the power.

They WILL take everything from the poor and middle class and give it to the wealthy. It's always been that way, it will always be that way.

To vote republican goes against every kindness that Jesus preached in his time on earth.

"Yes he's coming now only for a photo op and to try to promote his re-election", signed the same right wingers that complained he didn't come here when he was on business n Europe!

Trust me this will be what you'll hear now. And had he cut his trip short and come at first, THIS is what you would have heard THEN!

Harder working? Or just another photo op? Honestly if he would pay more attention to the economy and jobs like he promised the country would be in much better shape. It has nothing to do with hate. I understand this obsession with hate that you radical liberals have, but most just think he's taken this country into serious trouble by his out of control spending policies. You want to talk about promises? Even liberal news has blasted him on those. He's failed miserably on the economy, jobs, foreign affairs. Sure he passed a health care bill, but at the cost of all other health plans such as medicare. The benefits are few and the costs are impossible to absorb. Pelosi's district alone has issued 90% of the countries business waivers alone! What a scam!

The Republicans are holding up emergency funds for the disasters in MO unless Democrats agree to Medicare cuts. The GOP is essentially blackmailing the legislature and exploiting the suffering of Americans to further their own political agenda.
