Palin fakes out reporters at Gettysburg hotel

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania (CNN) - Sarah Palin pulled a clever bait and switch on reporters in Gettysburg on Tuesday, as her "One Nation" bus tour rolls into its third day.

The Palin family and a few members of her staff sneaked out of their hotel early, leaving their flashy bus behind in the hotel parking lot to give reporters chasing her the impression that she was still readying for the day.

As members of Palin's advance staff began to roll out luggage to the bus on Tuesday morning, a crush of media and tourists gathered to meet the potential presidential candidate on her way out of the hotel.

But CNN was soon tipped off that Palin was long gone, off to visit the Civil War battlefields and onward toward Philadelphia.

Can one imagine what she would be like as a president? Total chaos and lies coming out of her mouth every chance in order to grab more media attention!

Why is the media chasing after this woman? Personally, I could care less if she runs. It sure would make some interesting debates. Should she by some miracle win her party's nomination, she would never be elected President. She puts her foot in her mouth whenever she does interviews, so we can't really expect her to actually TALK to the press. So CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC stop this merry chase, and just let her bus go on its merry way.

Who cares. This woman is not running. The good old boys have told her not to and she will obey, so long as they pay her demands.

Just what is it that Sarah's afraid of, a few questions that might overwhelm her Barbie mind?

It’s called quiet time; she wants to visit Gettysburg without a blathering gaggle of press interrupting solemn reflection that is proper in that place.

Looks like Governor Palin left CNN's flashy bus behind in the hotel parking lot.

Another cutting edge 'news' story. Thanks Pete!!

Read the headline and thought Palin actually sounded intelligent and threw off the press corp.

Heard her on the news this morning. No chance she said anything intelligent

Still afraid to talk to the press! Certainly can't run for President if you can't talk to the press.

Oh, she's so clever. How about the media pulling a fast one on her and ignoring her.

"Palin fakes out reporters at Gettysburg hotel"

    Key Word: FAKE.

FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE. That's all she is. There's not a genuine bone or drop of urine in her body. Robot talking point parrot whose one goal is money and fame. Here's a hint CNN: if she avoids you, that's not a story...it's a reason to snub her back and not report on her at all. Otherwise, you're just feeding into it..and why? Because you don't have the integrity or the backbone NOT to report on her when all she is is an imaature publicity stunt performing robot talking point parrot?

I am not at all sure palin is the right choice for president, but it is super enjoyable watching her treat the media like the insignificant tools they are. If nothing else, showing the press ( and the public ) that the power of the media is now mostly in their own minds is a worthwhile endeavour

Bait and switch is a con artists game. With insular behavior she doesn't have to answer any questions about medicare from the public and the press.
