(CNN) - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is under fire from opposition lawmakers over his use of a state police helicopter to travel with his wife to his son's high school baseball game.
The self-styled Republican budget hawk touched down near a New Jersey ball field Tuesday, landing him in hot water with legislators critical of his personal use of the vehicle, according to a spokesman for the governor.

This man should be doing more walking and less flying. The least he should be doing is flying around at tax payers expense. He needs to drop multiple pounds for his own sake and his constituents.
Oh my god, these people are such hypocrites. Unbelievable waste of tax payer money, and an incredible display of arragance.
The costs should be itemized and paid back out if his personal funds.
Is this is surprise? Christie is just like all of the other Republicans: "Do as I say, not as I do."
Is anyone really surprised by this. Obama/Biden 2012
Isn't there a certain democrap senator that is famous for her insistance on having her boeing 757 paid for by the tax payers? She wasn't happy with the small coomuter-type plane that came with the job so she demanded a boeing 757 to fly her and pals around. Remeber that???? No???? Gee what a shock you don't rmemeber that one.
Weiner twittered and Christie use government helicopter. Weiner's you have to prove he did it, but Christie's just can caught and has the gut to land next it next to his sons baseball filed. The media was all over Weiner like a bunch of Parana's lets see if you if you reciprocate.
as I said before another "don't do as I do, do as I SAY do" Republican.
Budget Hawk is also enjoying tax payer health insurance. And he should be walking to slim down, to present a more health-conscious image especially if he wants to join the GOP clown parade, which now is not possible because of his helicopter ride. Also, he votes to cut spending at such human costs, yet does not want to raise taxes on the ultra-rich, and now he is acting like the ultra-rich with the private use of a tax payer funded helicopter.
The President just came back from "tracing his roots" in Ireland and Shannon wants to talk about "wastes of taxPAYER's money"? Puh-leez!
