John Edwards indicted
Washington (CNN) - Former senator and 2008 presidential candidate John Edwards was indicted Friday, according to a federal court source.
Plea discussions had been ongoing between Edwards' defense lawyers and federal prosecutors, but no agreement was reached.

JOHN EDWARDS COULD HAVE COST THE DEMOCRATS THE PRESIDENTIAL 2008 ELECTION!
If John Edwards had won the nomination to represent the Democrats in the 2008 General Election; it would have been the biggest political disaster in Presidential election history.

I think John Edwards should not be given a plea deal...had everyone known what was going on his votes might have gone to Hillary and she wouldve been President....
This seems like the same thing Schwartzenneger did. Why is one prosecuted and the other isnt? They both had an affair which resulted in a child. They both paid off the mistress to keep quiet during an election. Somehow it comes off like Schwartzenneger is a "standup guy for paying child support" and Edwards is a criminal for doing the same thing.
Edwards Attorney said,"Has done wrong in his life...but, he didn't break the Law".
Well, it is well said by his Attorney. His Attorney sounds like he himself did a lot of wrong doing but, he didn't get caught. Because, the Law required witnesses. On the other hand, we do have some Law Enforcement Officers who did committed a lots of wrong doing, but they never brought to justice. Because, they did it...without witnesses or the victims never reported the crimes.
This...is just opening the windows, how our Politicians and Rich people are taking advantages on ordinarily American Citizens. The ordinarily Citizens lives has been destroyed, in a daily base. The ordinarily Americans, never been represented.
So sad that such a promising political career should finish this way.
