Michelle Obama headed to Africa
(CNN) – First lady Michelle Obama is slated to make a goodwill trip to Africa later this month, the White House announced Friday, part of her ongoing efforts to be a forceful advocate for emerging leaders abroad.
The official state visit, from June 21-26, will include stops in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa, and Gaborone, Botswana, and is aimed at promoting education, health and wellness in addition to leadership. The first lady has engaged in similar efforts during past trips to Brazil, Chile, El Salvador, India, Mexico and the United Kingdom.

Hey, why not another vacation for Michelle Obama. After all, she's not the one paying for it. We are, the hard working taxpayer.
Gee, and to think her husband has preached how we should all cut back, vacation less, save money in these rough times of high unemployment, high gas prices, high food prices, etc. Oh wait, mybad, we should be cutting back and tightening our belts, not the Obama's. Sure would be nice if these two would practice what they preach. And that carbon footprint we're told to be careful of. Well, guess what? We should all worry about it, but not the Obama's.

Before all the loons come out complaining about Mrs. Obama making this trip ... just one question:
Who would you rather have representing your country - Mrs. Obama or Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachmann?
Frankly, protect your country's reputation ... Mrs. Obama raises your profile and spreads goodwill. The other two are just escapees from the GOP asylum.
Oh man...I can just see the lights flickering on and off in the Teatrolls heads right now..."Do I comment and tell her to stay there or is that totally racist? maybe if I just say something knee-jerk about Kenya and visiting Obama's place of birth? yeah, that's the ticket...then I can just cry foul and claim that anyone pointing out that I have no respect for black people is playing the 'race card' and that THEY are the one who is a racist."
