Palin’s threat for those who disagree

(CNN) - Fresh off the first leg of her “One Nation” bus tour, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said she did not mean to distract from Mitt Romney’s presidential announcement by visiting New Hampshire on the same day, adding that she reserves ill intent for those with whom she disagrees.

“I do apologize if I stepped on any of that PR that Mitt Romney needed or wanted that day. I do sincerely apologize. We didn’t mean to step on anybody’s toes,” Palin said on “Fox News Sunday.” “I’ll step on the toes of those who are making poor decisions for our nation … I don’t have a problem stepping on toes of those … who keep screwing up.”

The potential 2012 presidential candidate said her five-day tour was not about her – despite its appearance as a publicity tour – and instead showed her the desire Americans have to get back to the country’s foundational principles and away from the positions held by President Barack Obama.

She compared his economic policies to the Titanic, a ship she said will soon be “drowning in debt and in additional economic problems.”

“It’s very noble of President Obama to want to stay at the helm and maybe go down with this sinking ship, but I prefer and many Americans prefer that we start plugging the hole,” Palin said. “We don't have to go the way of the Titanic.”

To reverse America’s economic course, a President Palin would cut the federal budget, cut taxes and regulations to incentivize businesses, and institute an “all of the above energy policy,” including “drill baby drill,” her oft-used slogan.

She reiterated her charge that Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is crying wolf by saying the U.S. Congress must increase the debt ceiling by August 2nd. And although she expects Congress will raise the limit, a vote with which she disagrees, Palin said members of Congress “better get something out of it,” whether it be a balanced budget, cuts in federal spending or a reassessment of American-led wars.

“Three wars that we’re engaged in today and our country nearing bankruptcy. We have to rethink everything that we’re doing with foreign aid and with foreign intervention,” Palin said. “We have got to make sure it’s America’s interests first being met in each of these nations.”

The former 2008 vice presidential also addressed some controversies that arose this past week. After she botched details of Paul Revere’s midnight ride while speaking in Boston, Palin correctly recounted the story Sunday and characterized the encounter as a “shout-out gotcha type of question that was asked of me.”

“I answered candidly and I know my American history,” Palin said.

When asked about the more than 24,000 pages of records, including emails, that are set to be released by the Alaska governor’s office, Palin said the emails were not meant for public consumption and that people will “capitalize on this opportunity” and take the messages out of context.

“I don’t think there’s anything private in our family,” Palin said. “Nothing surprises me any more.”

So President Obama should QUIT like you? Sorry Dumbo Palin, he's no quitter.

“I answered candidly and I know my American history,”

That's why you got the story of Paul Revere COMPLETELY WRONG, right?

Does someone from CNN want to tell us how her comments add up to a "threat?"

“I’ll step on the toes of those who are making poor decisions for our nation … I don’t have a problem stepping on toes of those … who keep screwing up.”
So...is she going to step on her own toes? That's the first place she should start. And don't you just love it that everytime she screws up, she blames it on a "gotcha" moment? This woman is beyond pathetic.

This is an implied boost me or else get run over by Ms.Palin. Also her gaffe in who Paul Revere was working for shows ignorance of history. That alone should make her unfit to hold high office . But then that might mean we wouldn't have had some of the leaders we have had iif we appliied an "are you smarter than a 5th grader" test . Think I would fail in some areas not in others. Oh Mama Grizzly the Bruins will lose the Stanley cup final.

Democrats want Sarah Palin to run – However, she is NOT!! She will try for the SENATE first and then in 2016, she will try to run for president. Her goal now is to be a menace and get under everyone's skin who dislike her and get praise from those who adore her. She and TRUMPet are two of a kind – Greedy, selfish, self-centered and money-hungry – it's all about the "BENJAMINS" to them.

Once she wins the AZ Senate race, she will now be a WH INSIDER!!! What she is doing now is campaigning for funds OUTSIDE of AZ and she will get it. The buck STOPS, nonetheless, in 2016. She will still be a spectacle and still remain NOT capable of being the President of the United States!!!!

This woman is such a liar, maybe her stupid follower believe her visit wan't intentional, but no one with a brain does. $arah can't stand when anyone else is getting attention. She is the most petty, insecure and selfish woman every to appear on the public stage. There is nothing she wouldn't do or say to make money, she uses her family, like props in a play. I know people here have said it over and over again, but CNN stop covering this idiot. She needs to take her ill mannered children, her fake smile and her big hair and go home. She actually said today, that the Paul Revere question was a gotcha question, she's an idiot, so I guess the press shouldn't ask her anything, always the victim should be her motto.

She's as dumb as a bag of rocks. Of course, she'll blame the media as springing "gotcha" questions on her. By now, everyone sees through her pattern of blaming others for exposing her stupidity. Another thing, why in the world would she think for one second that emails she sent while she was Governor and in that official capacity were in any way private? Again, she plays the victim and is as dumb as a bag of rocks.

This lady is a narcisist. The only person Sarah Palin cares about is Sarah Palin. This woman is beyond ignorant and stupid. She is dangerous. She lacks no judgment or empathy. She is in it for the Money and Power. My guess is she is a SOCIOPATH.

The only time "toes" are allowed around Sarah Palin is when she puts her own foot in her mouth every time that she opens it.

It seems rather strange that the press is not going after the story as to why she bought a house in Arizona. I really doubt the reason being that she wanted to be near her daughter. It also seems rather strange that there will be a vacant US Senate seat from Arizona at the 2012 election! Is this the "fall back" choice for Lady Sarah? .

Leave it to CNN to preoccupy itself with "news" that doesn't really matter. Press time would be better spent examining methods of countering the current economic crisis, instead of garroting people for obvious misquotes. Such media coverage reeks of tabloid journalism. Any "legitimate" news source would focus on real issues. Stop insulting the intelligence of the American people.

Watched Sarah Palin being interviewed by Chris Wallace on 06/05/11. She demonstrated 1) continued geo-politcal ignorance, and 2) functional illiteracy.

Beyond this, she is a perpetual prevaricator – as evidenced by several responses to Mr. Wallace's questioning.

How incredibly sad so many in our country are so blind to the obvious. Can one's anger and bias truly disconnect their brain?

I see that Palin's new advisor, her youngest daughter is running her campaign. There is actually a couple of decisions and common sense that faced reality and almost made sense. i did not know that Alaska had that quality of education at that lower level,we continually see what Palin herself derived from the states higher educational standards.
