(CNN) - A week after claiming a hacker had posted a lewd photo to his Twitter account, U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner on Monday apologized for lying about the ordeal and admitting carrying on inappropriate relationships with several women he'd met online.

(CNN) - A week after claiming a hacker had posted a lewd photo to his Twitter account, U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner on Monday apologized for lying about the ordeal and admitting carrying on inappropriate relationships with several women he'd met online.
Weiner, a New York Democrat, said he is not resigning his seat, nor is he planning on separating from his wife. But he said he took responsibility for his actions - both the relationships and for lying about sending photos.
He should have come clean alst week. What an idiot! But not the AK kind of idiot!
To four and the door, palin power and any of the tea bagging crowd – just remember, what he did was NOT right but the Democrats do not run on family values (and then break them all with both men/women boys and girls) or bible stump.
He admitted to having engaging in "several inappropriate relationships" with women he met online, but said he was not resigning.

Weiner must resign immediately! He should also be charged for his false statements to the FBI. Democrats screamed for the resignation of Chris Lee, and this, without a doubt is 100 times worse.

Where are the howls of anguish from the lame-stream media for his resignation? When a Republican did this, he was hounded into retirement.

Now maybe everyone who was blaming the person who first reported the picture for hacking the congressman's account will step up and apologize as well but I doubt it.

Wow – this is getting ridiculous. A shame that congressman Weiner couldn't stop himself from texting a photo of his "wiener" to someone who was not his wife (and that wife happens to be an attractive lady).
I honestly feel for this guy. I wonder what Jon will say on the Daily Show tonite after defending his friend so adamantly last week. Uff da.

If Anthony Wiener's political career has been destroyed, maybe CNN will give him his own prime-time show. After spending weeks beating a horse to death about Eliot Spitzer's even worse behavior, he is now featured on CNN with his own show. CNN is pretty hypocritical!
Dummy. He's one of the most effective, vocal and well-spoke progressive critics against the GOP's nonsense and he goes and messes up his credibility like this? Idiot. It's certainly not something he should resign over or be rebuked by Congress...altho I'm sure we'll be treated to GOPers claiming it rises to that level...but I certainly hope his wife slaps him silly.
