(CNN) - A week after claiming a hacker had posted a lewd photo to his Twitter account, U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner on Monday apologized for lying about the ordeal and admitting carrying on inappropriate relationships with several women he'd met online.

(CNN) - A week after claiming a hacker had posted a lewd photo to his Twitter account, U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner on Monday apologized for lying about the ordeal and admitting carrying on inappropriate relationships with several women he'd met online.
Weiner, a New York Democrat, said he is not resigning his seat, nor is he planning on separating from his wife. But he said he took responsibility for his actions - both the relationships and for lying about sending photos.

This clearly shows his character, ethics and morals. From his outright lying to his internet actions.

We all know that the dumbocraps in Congress are liars. Nothing new there. He should be forced to resign like the Repubs that have been caught in similiar situations but the dumbocraps and Obummie won't make him because they are just as immoral as he is. Do us a favor Weiner fall on your sword.
Very disappointing news from the Congressman but I agree with his decision to stay in office...I think if his constituents re-elect him than they don't care about his personal life

He needs to resign immediately! Additionally he willingly made false statements to the FBI and accused innocents or wrongdoing. He should be charged appropriately. This seems to be all too normal for a Democrat these days, but at least he didn't stick top secret papers in his sock, or hid thousands of dollars in his freezer, or spend thousands of campaign dollars on hiding his mistress... The corruption seems to never end.

Gee I would have never thought Weiner was arrogant enough to do that to his spouse or lie to voters – HA HA. I am just surprised he did not blame Bush and tell us the other pictures looked better. The man spouts venomous hatred daily but acts like the modern day sanhedrin so who would have thought?
I don't see how an apology is enough here. His actions were a hundred times worse than that of GOP Chris Lee whom Democrats were screaming for his resignation. Additional and much more 'revealing' photos were on the way, which was the only reason he finally told the truth. It's time for Democrats to hold their own accountable.
Who cares. He didn't rape any young boys. He didn't break any laws. He didn't even have sex outside his marriage. Heck, he didn't even meet the women!!! He's guilty of internet flirting at most. Who cares.
As for lying to the press, yes, he lied to you. So what, darn near every politian lies to you every day.
As for comparing to Republicans, there's no comparison. He's not standing up being morally superior to others and then getting caught. He did not rally against gays for decades only to come out late in life. There's very little to no hypocracy here.
I must admit my NATURAL byass for the Congressman but if it weren't for this new day and age NONE of us would even know about all of the private dealings of our elected officials. I say if he isn't in your district you don't have a say in who they allow to represent them and if it just so happens that Representative is a cheating SOB well then it is not your moral compass that defines his ability to Represent his district...if they dont recall him then we all will just need to move on

Why do i have a strong feeling Mr. Weiner would only look down at me or my students for always striving for the truth. He obviously thinks he is above the truth and smarter than the truth, thus only admitting what he did today because; he got caught !
He will lie about theft. He will lie about anything. A liar is a liar. If his constituents forgive him,,,,,, they deserve the corrupt politicians they elect.

RE-COMMIT to the relationship that has been broken
Anthony Weiner has started the process with his wife, his colleagues and his constituents. Now, he needs to be allowed to fulfills his intentions without criticism and second guessing by the media and people who clearly still belong in junior high.
