Mr Cain may talk a good talk and have very good ideas to appeal to a certain part of the GOP, but he will NOT get the GOP nomination and the main reason he won't is a very sad one indeed. Maybe a VP ticket at best but just can't see the GOP running him against Obama. Maybe in my grandkids lifetime something like this would occur, but not in mine.

Cain is demonstrating how to "be the beast" that is needed to win the GOTP nomination.
He easily won their first debate. Don't count him out of the running.
Barring unforeseen scandal, Cain's my early bet to win the nomination.

As an indepdendent, I welcome a fresh new face to politics. Unfortunately, GOP will NEVER allow this man to be their frontrunner, and the Democrats think the Tea Party is a JOKE. Either way, its a lost cause...unless he becomes a 3rd party candidate and remember how that turned out for Gore in 2000. Thanks to Ralph Nader (whom I actually REALLY like), we got Bush..and then we got him again (thanks to the lying Swift Boaters).
